If you miss the Mass Ave vibe and slow pharmacy lines try this store out. You bored with your quick afternoon stop at the grocery store/pharmacy. Not exciting enough. Try this location. You will be greeted with men and women with yellow eyes ripping on cigarettes $10 a pack shaking a cup at you when you go by. And goodness don’t tell them it’s inappropriate to be there because then they will tell you how they earned the right to sit there because they have worked enough in theirs lives. They will tell you they have just applied for appropriate subsidies a week ago and they will tell you to go get laid. Classy town Norwood has turned into. Private property rented out so the police and the stores will not do anything. So ya, if you like working heard all week to have some degenerate shake a cup at you this is absolutely the place to be.
Never in my life have I had a pharmacy technician ask me why I expected my prescription to be ready on time, and never in my life have I come to a pharmacy to get a prescription filled after I’ve called and had them tell me that the prescription was not in stock because they neglected to check to see if they had my prescription when I called. These guys are understaffed, and under prepared for the amount of volume that they have at the store, and my safety would honestly be a question if I were to get anything field here. I don’t think that they have any time to do things safely and they definitely don’t have time to be nice.
5 stars for the wonderful pharmacists at this location, specifically Nadine. I called feeling helpless and hopeless regarding my prescription and she listened and helped. Thank you for being so gracious on the 4th of July!
I went there to purchase 2 $50 steam cards. I decided to go through the self service register the one at the corner by the front door. I scanned both cards. The machine told me to pay $100 I put my citizens bank Card in and was debited $100 even the screen told me paid amount was $100 and balance due was 0.00 But when I got the receipt it said: that one of the 2 cards was rejected and the store owed me $50. So I called the attendant he said I was correct but he had to call Joe the manager. Joe came in and promised me to give me my money back and he tried to re activate the same card multiple times but the machine wouldn't approve it. He then asked me to wait till Monday and see if my account was debited $100. The incident took place on Saturday around June 30 2022. Anyway I waited till I got paper print showing my accounr=t was debited 100$. I spoke to Joe again, he again advised me to talk to his boss another manager which in return she advised me to call CVS and file claim for the $50. Which I did and received confirmation that they will refund me the $50. Today is October 29, 2022 and I am still waiting to see that refund. I just don't think that CVS needs my $50 and then again their refund system sucks. If I don't receive my refund right away I will continuousely give them bad reviews.
Joe and Andrea were very friendly and helpful. I love how they both took time to help my aunt out who is elderly. I wish there were more people who work in the customer service field like this . The Norwood location is very lucky to have the both of them . Thank you for your awesome service
I like this CVS. Sometimes the line can get long at the registers, but the service is good, the pharmacists and support staff helpful, and store is clean. I probably visit this location 3 times a week. Be back soon!
Customer service at the pharmacy doesn’t exist. Pharmacist seemed annoyed, appeared to be mocking me, and had a bad attitude on the phone with my mom and to me in person. The pharmacy techs assisting him… again seemed bothered by my existence. Techs at the register were ok, but they need new systems and the pharmacy needs to improve their culture and customer experience.
Long line and long wait at this pharmacy. I transferred all of my prescriptions to another independent pharmacy nearby. Prices of most items here are higher than at Walgreens.
The Pharmacist was very rude and not willing or trying to help at all. I was misinformed on my insurance and payment over the phone. The store manager was able to refund my money. I had an insurance error so I paid for 6 pills out of pocket 3 days worth and was told when my insurance went through, they would refund me and charge me a co-pay. They gave me the other 54 pills from the same prescription but then the pharmacist charged me for 2 separate co-pays. I did not have a great experience and will be going to a different pharmacy.
This C.V.S was top of the list when it came to customer satisfaction. I would make it a point to try and go there atleast once a day. Always great deals, the employees were pleasant and helpful Always asking if you needed help, and always knowledgeable about sales, products, extracare deals, etc. With this being said, now it is just the opposite. Shelves in disarray, inventory depleted, when you find an employee they have no answers, and the ignorance by some pharmacist is so disappointing that you start to have a panic attack wondering if your going to be embarrassed by them when they start talking about your insurance or medicine because of your health insurance plan or what your medical needs are. Best thing going is Tom the pharmacist he is always helpful, courteous, and professional the C.V.S franchise should have him doing seminars on professional courteous to the customers for after all the customers are the ones who are spending there money at your store's. Well maybe if this post gets enough post's we all will have our neighborhood C.V.S back.
