Kroger Marketplace

I think they just remodeled this store. It's HUGE. They have things like a very nice wine tasting and bar area, a huge sushi bar and their produce section seems very large. Their kitchenware area is also huge. Very impressive. Weird that there was only one register open. You pretty much had to do self checkout. But other than that great.

As a new Ohioan, place has everything I've looked for in stock. Great savings by using the coupons, it's like a Ralph's from LA but better, depending on which Kroger store one shops at, it can have clothing as well. I've usually gone around 2pm & few lanes are open, self checkout is nice to have.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. There is this lady who has been working here the past year and has accused me and my boyfriend of stealing twice now… literally made the manager come over and was standing in front of us to block us from leaving. We have spent over $2000 at Kroger just this year… Her reasoning was because I clicked to no receipt option? They have 500+ cameras in this store alone, I’m sure if I’m stealing they will know. Another time she yelled at me because I scanned an item too hard. Also yelled at me for putting the bags in the recycling bin the wrong way

God awful experience. The line was at least 20 people deep, and they only have 1 register open. HIRE MORE CASHIERS, and pay them more

This store is usually well kept. Can get out at a decent time during checkout however I do not appreciate being stereotyped! Yes I have Loc's and I'm African American. But not all of us steal! Many of us value hard work and honest shopping. Your store associates and security does not need to stand close by me when you clearly see that I am paying for my groceries! Many times you guys choose to watch the wrong people. While others go by stealing.

Consistently rotten prepared produce. Over the summer, we twice tried to purchase cut watermelon--it was rotten and fermenting both times. We quit buying it. More recently, we've twice purchased one of the $10 salads--both times, the lettuce has been fine but all the vegetable toppings have been rotten and slimy. For the price Kroger is charging for these things, they could at least keep the fruit and vegetables cold before, during, and after they're handled and packaged.

I really think that the problems at this store are relegated to just a few problem employees but management corporate has done nothing to improve this store. When click list forgets stuff, they forget a bunch. And don’t get me started on the deli. I am positive that it is run by a coven of deli witches who are more interested in cleaning their equipment rather than actually slicing and selling the meat. You need at least 48 hrs notice on click list for the deli and that’s being generous. I have handled a lot of these issues with the store itself but enough is enough. Maybe corporate can do something like pay these folks a livable wage or offer actual incentives to help rather than rake in their profits and keep it for themselves. I dunno. Kroger needs to look at local chains like Schnucks to improve.

Last night, before the store closed, we had a family emergency, and my relative needed help. In an age where racism, intolerance, and cruelty are so common, I wanted to take a moment to thank the young man who helped my brother find peace last night. Treating human beings with compassion and going above and beyond the call of duty bridged huge gaps last night. The young man was warm and kind-- instead of being "corporate." He realized there was an emergency and helped without question or judgement. We never got the young man's name, but he was a miracle who waited for the UBER DRIVER to get my brother to safety.

I purchased some colby cheese from Kroger today 03/31/2023 to make grilled cheese for my grandson. When I opened the pack there was mold on the cheese. With the high price you charge for groceries you can check the freshly of your product.
