Who we are:
We are a veteran owned small business that takes pride in serving people. We proudly call the mid-south home.
• Vince is an Air Force veteran and a former firefighter who served in Afghanistan. He received his MBA from the University of Memphis. He inherited his passion for cooking native Hawaiian and Japanese dishes from his grandmother, Ruriko.
• Holly is an Air Force veteran and a former finance officer. She received her B.S. in Business Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy. She is currently working on her MBA at the University of Memphis. A native of the mid-south, Holly graduated from Horn Lake High School in 2001.
Vince and Holly are married, and have two boys (Kobe:8 & Kanon:5). They attend Desoto Central schools.
• Ruriko is the matriarch of the family who has lived both in Hawaii and Japan. She has worked as a chef her whole adult life. Her love for cooking native Hawaiian and Japanese dishes is only surpassed by her love for her family. She embodies the “Ohana” spirit.
Ohana
• Ohana is the Hawaiian word for family; It extends beyond the core family to include the local community
• The belief is you have a responsibility and obligation to serve and provide nourishment to your Ohana so they can be made stronger and grow
