How did we get started?
It all started as an adventure of interest, but eventually living naturally turned into my way of life.
About 12 years ago, Melynda was experiencing a sense of restlessness, sleeplessness and stress.
She visited her local wellness shop looking for a remedy.
I’d buy all sorts of herbs,” Melynda says. “If it said ‘relaxing’ I threw it in my basket.”
She also began to eat more local and natural foods. It didn’t take long for Melynda to see a connection between what she ate and how she felt. She even became more cognizant of what bath and beauty care she put on her body.
Today, Melynda is a wife, practicing herbalist, and sole proprietor at Dark Horse Inspirations.
How did she get here? She headed out in the world to explore nature and all of it's wonderful benefits.
Melynda participates in hands on herbalist, alchemist & survival training programs as well herbal online courses. She gears weekly trips to botanical gardens, plant walks and ventures out to wild forage when plants are at there peak of season.
