My team at Meta came here for a team lunch. Decent spot for Japanese food that is right next to the Facebook office. Diverse menu selection of both cooked foods and sushi, there is something for everybody! The sashimi I had was still slightly frozen in the middle of the slices, so it could have been defrosted a bit longer.
Good food, interesting fellas! Very close to meta’s office! Great soup! Awesome teriyaki! Our waiter also seemed owner too was very friendly, came in talked to us a couple of times. Cleanness: clean Menu diversity: many options Seating: indoor, booth and tables Price: decent price for the food Wait time: good! People: friendly , chatty, nice Food: everyone tasted good, we really liked the teriyaki
I absolutely love this authentic Japanese restaurant! Food is freshly made in less than 10 min. Plus, the service at Dashi feels homey, friendly, and they’re very efficient!! One of the best Japanese food restaurants in the Bay Area for a very fair price!
Simply put, an amazing small little place hidden away! Came here just to eat a little and relax. Absolutely loved the food! Unagi was delicious, the the tonkatsu was perfect! Exactly what I was looking for!

The food was excellent and staff friendly. It was very cold outside, so the owner served us some complimentary hot chocolate. Thanks, will be coming here again.
Used to pickup for lunch regularly, their service is fast and friendly. Took my gf to try their style of sashimi cuts and we both agreed their rolls and sashimi was better than our other experiences. Will be back for sure and recommend for anyone who is looking for good sushi!
The food was really good, especially the Chicken Oyako Donburi. The chicken is well marinated and tender, and the portion was really large as well. The owners are a sweet, friendly couple who made eating here a greater experience than it already is. They even gave us a free chocolate cake - which tasted amazing rich chocolate with a lovely crumbly cookie base. I highly recommend this place!
Cute little resto hidden away in Menlo Park about a mile from Facebook . Popped in for a quick bite and was pleased. We had the Chicken Donburi and Veggie Yakemishi fried rice. Both meals came with Miso soup and salad. Also had the Gyoza appetizer. Good service and open until 9 on weekdays.
The food is epic!!! Staff is super friendly and kind!!! The only feedback is the strong use of cleaning agent that has a long lasting residual smell… please consider using more natural ones!
