Just wanted to say how disappointed I am in Mr. Gervais. I came to him with a desperate situation about my family stealing everything from me that not a single lawyer will touch. He was kind enough to take the case even though it wasn't something he did promising he would help. I paid $100 to have a letter sent and then it became harder and harder to get a hold of him because my mom lied and said she didn't have my things. I did at least find out that much. I kept asking if i should really continue, if it was even worth it, but due to his background in criminal cases, assured me that because my parents were withholding $30,000 from me we could at least get them on a criminal charge. I spent my time going through text messages, pictures and everything to send him only for him to start dodging calls until he eventually became unattainable. I would call from my work phone just so he wouldn't know it was me, to be promised he would call me back and two months later have heard nothing from him. I just wish he would have been honest enough to say he couldn't do it rather than leading me on to believe there was any hope at all after all my disappointments...here's to yet another one. Mr. Gervais is a nice person, but nice isn't enough -- he is supposed to work for his client instead of advocating for plea bargains. The criminal justice system is already rigged against the mentally ill, addicted, and poor. Mr Gervais does not have the fortitude or stamina to stand up to his local DA, nor does he care or have time to do the research necessary to defend moderately challenging cases. He is better suited for misdemeanors. Use someone else for felonies.
David provides excellent service and he is thorough. He has a first rate assistant that keeps things on track. I definitely recommend his services!
