For years, residents of Destin have voiced a need for a Destin High School. Endorsed by the City Council, we are making this dream a reality.
The Destin High School Project is the result of more than a year's research and efforts by the Destin High School Advisory Committee, a fact-finding committee comprised of volunteer citizens seeking to develop a Destin High School! The launching of this committee was approved by the Destin City Council on June 20, 2016, and is comprised of:
Jorge Alonso
Jerome Bouillon
Denise Fountain
Melody Gill Pittman
Scheree Martin
Linda Phillips
Shawn Phillips
Prebble Ramswell
Sarah Stone
Myra Williams
Minutes were taken and recorded at all meetings which typically occurred monthly though varied due to level of activity.
