I came here seeking one product, was directed to another product, and it did not address the issue as I was assured by the manager it would. After returning and expressing my frustration about the issue as frankly as possible to the attendant asking for a refund because that was literally the last of the money I had that was borrowed in the first place, it was then suggested that they would start treating me poorly in conversation, which already was poor so w/e, which in they own words "I would not like". It seems deplorable that if the job is to assist the customer that a worker would intentionally develop an "poor attitude adjustment" simply because they was not pleased with the work, that is their job, and displays that they are neglecting the best ability they can do simply because they are dissatisfied with the job they willfully took. Can't we just kill people with kindness? Had good experience in the past when addressing known issues and sticking with my game plan and not trying to appeal to reason. I guess I learned the lesson to not take suggestions out of "the dark" and not expect any quality customer service from counter clerks, who almost instantaneously developed a flippant, thoughtless, and careless attitude. This experience was a 0 star, and the past was 3-4 stars, so 0 plus 4 divided by 2 is 2. Will temper my expectations in the future as it pertains to honestly and realistically getting assistance I desperately need. Go there if you know what you need, otherwise all bets are off I suppose. On the plus side I don't have to work with the person in question, so actually I feel pretty grateful just to be free from the presence of that, and will not be talking to that specific worker ever again should I ever return. Bless up, and thank you for the frivolously spent time, money, and effort on my part, for it has served as a learning experience to me. Take Care and watch out for the B's
I’m pretty convinced at this point that you have to be an extra kind person to be hired at Ace Hardware. I’ve had someone offer to personally drop off a delayed delivery item on their way home, and recently I’ve had to come in multiple times for help with a paint tint that wasn’t quite right — everyone I’ve interacted with has been patient, kind, and understanding. Definitely feel good supporting this business!
The closing signs are very deceiving, they close on Saturday but their merchandise is only 20% off?
Stopped by to see what plants they had but really few and far between. I know it is early season but I was hoping for a better selection.
Stopped in looking for two 16" diameter planting pots with drainage saucers and they had them! They also had several types of good quality potting soil to choose from that I needed to fill the pots. Very friendly and helpful employee manning the front register who told me exactly where to find what I needed.
I don’t recommend ordering online from this store. They will switch what you order to a “comparable” item without asking you if that’s ok, and then say your order is ready for pickup. I don’t appreciate driving across town for the one store that supposedly has this product in stock, just to waste my gas.
Closing down, last day is August 26th, 2023.
The staff is most helpful. Whether it's chain saw problems or needing a particular type of electrical or plumbing device, the courteous staff is knowledgeable and ready to help. The majority of the time, they have what I need in the store.
I went to this location today to pick up a large amount of fall decoration items to decorate the outside of my workplace's office! They have really nice large hay bales, beautiful mums, corn stalks, pumpkins, gords, etc. for fall, and the staff was super helpful!! The lady at the front was very kind and helpful, and 4 men total helped me load everything into my car. Thank you, everyone!!
Friendly and helpful staff. A customer was short of paying for the items. A nice checkout lady offered to pay what the other person could not. She taught us all in line to pay it forward. You won me over.
