Mental health counseling services for children, teens and adults.
Individual, couples and family therapy service are available in addition to group counseling. We are now accepting new clients. Our hours are flexible and we operate on a sliding pay scale for individuals without medical coverage. At this time we are open to all Highmark participants.

I’ve been Diane’s patient for almost 1 year now. I can’t give her and her practice enough compliments. The way she has improved my every day life is crazy. The receptionist Jen is awesome. We instantly connected when I decided to make that first call to the office usually the one myself and others put off; Jen empathized with me and made me feel supported every step Of the intake. Diane is very intelligent, empathetic, talented in various modalities of therapy, hilarious, and will Challenge you to be the person you want to be. She has put in great effort as my therapist and has supported me through major life changes. The office space is always cleaned and inviting. I can’t recommend her practice enough!!
Graduating in the early 1980s from a steel town therapy was not discussed! I admit that I didn't believe in it. As I came to the age that I am I realized that I needed help for an addiction that has continued for almost 35 years. I was introduced to Diane thru a friend and decided to give her a try. She is incredible! She makes you feel comfortable and doesn't look down on you. At the end of the session you feel as if you were talking to a best friend that you had known all your life!! She has been a great help!
I have been a patient of Diane Bauer's for over 3 years. Diane has enabled me to drastically improve my physical health and my emotional wellbeing. Diane makes an unparalelled effort to get to know her patients and she customizes each person's treatment to his or her individual needs. I highly recommend that you make an appointment to see Diane! I felt the need to respond to the previous post so that potential new clients are not misinformed - Diane's secretary Jennifer is remarkably kind and welcoming. In multiple situations, Jen has gone above and beyond her responsibilities to assist me with insurance or prescription issues. Any time that I have reached out with a question, Jen has responded promptly and provided me with the information I needed. She is even patient when I'm attempting to analyze my busy calendar to schedule appointments! Jen truly cares about the clients and I personally believe that she is an asset to Diane's practice!
The services offered at Diane Bauer's practice are outstanding. I have been meeting with Toni Bauer weekly, and she has helped me immensely with overcoming my struggle with anxiety and depression. There is no other therapist that has been able to assist me with working through my issues and improving my overall quality of life the way Toni has. I highly recommend scheduling a session with her.
There aren't any amount of words in this world that can describe how AMAZING Diane and the rest of her office employees are! I reached a point in my life where I needed help to find answers towards the way I felt and just generally needed help. Diane was the one who I seeked to help me do that and she has done a phenomenal job. She not only helped me find the answers to a lot of things through guidance, but she was also understanding an always had my interest in whatever she suggested. I definitely recommend her to whoever needs help in guiding themselves to a much happier life! She'll never force you to do anything you don't want to do. She's a very trusting person and she would never break that patient confidentiality unless you ask her to otherwise. Her office space is also very superb. It's comforting to be in that environment, knowing that you can leave most of your worries behind! Overall, the year that I saw her was spectacular and I don't know where I would be today without her! I'm very blessed to have gotten to know and be guided by such a jovial woman!
Diane and Toni Bauer dedicated professional women empowering their clients to overcome daily struggles. They have the education and life experience to make them fantastic counselors. As a professional myself I would highly recommend their services.
