The store does not have a sign that says open and close hrs.they need to put up a sign saying this for those people that dont have phones to look up the hrs.also they never have things out on the shelves every time i walk in theres things in boxes in the isles taking up space.they always say is bcause they dont have workers,yeah right bunch of lazy people.manager needs to look.at this i called corporate to fix this issue.
Has great coupon offers BUT the products are never in stock to use the coupons!!!! The shelves are empty every Saturday which is when they offer $5 off $25!! Delivery truck comes on Saturdays and full boxes are left in isles each week. Truck needs to arrive on Thursday or Friday and unloaded and shelves stocked by Saturday! Have to go out of my way to find another DG. I will add the the crew is very friendly.
This Dollar General store is my go to for very inexpensive cleaning products along with a whole bunch of other fun stuff. Some dollar stores are just a mess due to the high volume of customers and minimal staff but that's not the case here. The manager Ken is a wonderful, kind and hard-working gentleman that takes obvious pride in the cleanliness and organization of his store and throughout the years I've been shopping here, he's become my friend. I stopped in yesterday and he was the only one there and I was the only customer so we had a nice chat and I did my shopping in complete isolated bliss!! They sell food, clothing, beer and wine, cosmetics, batteries, cleaning products and a ton of other items in addition to each season/holiday's decorations and favors. The parking is abundant and convenient and so are the shopping carts so if you loathe giant "supercenters" as much as I do then this is the place for you.
Being in this store was a somewhat mixed experience. It looks like the kind of store you would go to in a sci-fi apocalypse movie. Everything is out of place and its very dim and stuffy. But the cashier was nice and I found a few nice mugs. But I felt uncomfortable in the store.
Can never remember which "dollar" store really has everything for one dollar...it is NOT this one $ Tree is! ...however, that isn't necessarily bad; items still cheap-cheap, choice of products available obviously multiplies with price variety. Picked up a coupla adult coloring books for $3 each~ Walmart charges 3x that. Good quality too. Problem with REAL $ store everything $1 is their limited space~ most items are seasonal, so if ya don't grab it when ya see it you'll be out of luck til NEXT year!
The service is always friendly. It seemed the counters were being restocked as things, and boxes were a bit all over the place. It gives the impression of being messy or disorganized.
Was appalled at the condition of the store! Hadn't been in for about 11 months & boy did it go downhill, filthy floors, disorganized as a jumble sale. Rolling think warehouse rack out in the middle of the store for people to just root through. Won't go back.
Friendly staff. They helped me with an item the website showed as in stock that couldn't be found. They took my number and called me when the item was found. Well managed!
Always full really really nice staff. Nicest dollar general hands down in the 239 area.
Good service here always well stocked. The store manager is a real gentleman!
