It's a nice RV park. A little snug for large rv's, but doable if you are a good driver. The folks running the park were very nice. Getting to the park was a task with the round-a-bouts in Manchester Center, but again doable if you are a good driver. Overall we had a good stay here. Nearby activities: Scenic area. A must see is Hilldene. The Lincoln Family home estate. Food & drinks: The area has a varied selection of places to eat, all of the ones we visited were very good.
Absolutely recommend and cannot wait to go back. We spent 20 nights there, and I would have been happy to spend another 100! Lovely people - campers and staff. Laurie, Nanci, and Debbie were all top notch. We made many friends while we were there. Camp store has many goodies and necessities. There are a few chickens on site, and each day freshly laid eggs are available to campers at no cost. Chickens are adorable although I didn’t always think so until I got to spend time with them. Now I want chickens of my own. Sites and roads are gravel. Bon fires on Saturday nights, and I think it’s Sunday that they have coffee and donuts. In walking distance to swim at the quarry or hike and bike the Dorset trails - all of which are a must. Short drive to historic downtown Manchester and Emerald Lake. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back!!! Nearby activities: Swimming at the quarry, hiking, and biking within walking distance. Short drive to historical downtown Manchester and Emerald Lake.
Had a great stay. Forgot my tent and the very nice girl working the front moved our site so I was able to stay in my truck. She even offered a tent she had . Place was quiet. They had a bonfire at night with some fireworks. The sites are a little close but for the price it can't be beat. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Showers were hot and powerful. Easy walk almost accross the street from a old marble quarry that you can swim in the Chrystal clear blue waters. Def will be back again to try the cabins. I would recommend this place. Nearby activities: Go swimming at the Dorset Marble Quarry.
Nice little spot for a stop over in my travels. Did a tent site and one of my friends forgot their tent and the people we very helpful ! They had a great bonfire and did fireworks since it was the fourth of July. There is also a big old quarry for swimming almost rite across the street !Service: 5/5
Great pricing, very friendly staff, quite. Some sites are more difficult to get into but not impossible. Would stay again and would recommend.
Very clean bathrooms that are heated! Big enough toilet stalls, good shower stalls with hooks and a bench. Mats on shower floor were a nice touch to not be standing in the shower water. Hangout room with pool table, tv, books. Everything about this place is very well kept and clean! Some Campsites are a little too close, but that may be just my preference.
Everybody here is so friendly and nice, even the other campers.Service: 5/5
Awesome campground! Will definitely be back! Nearby activities: Dorset Bakery and the Union store are a must. Didn't get a chance to see the quarry this time, definitely next time!
Great RV park. Friendly staff, knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Short drive to Manchester and Stratton. Great, well-maintained sites. Large RVs pull through sites. Beautifully maintained campus. Camp among the Trees!
Spots werr shaded and fairly level Showers were in need of upgrades, old, rusty pipes, and not very clean. Friendly staff and lots of trees. If showers were better probably be 4 stars.
