The Parks and Recreation Department seeks to improve the quality of life for residents of The City of Douglasville. The Department maintains 7 parks which include 11 multipurpose baseball fields, 1 football complex, 1 soccer complex, 1 Miracle League baseball field, 7 court tennis complex, 2 community centers, 3 neighborhood parks, an 18 hole disc golf course, and an 18 hole municipal golf course. Activities offered range from youth to adult sports, educational classes, day camps, and special events are offered throughout the year for the public’s enjoyment.
