This park fit the bill for staying active in Douglasville. No excuses. Pool, walking trail, indoor gym and playground. Wednesdays and Thursdays 1-6 pm individuals indoor basketball. Anytime outdoor basketball court, football or soccer field. Reservation rooms for activitie s is probably required. Super clean restrooms. It would be great if some of the outdoor basketball goals were lowered for the younger ones. Keep the trash in the bins not on the ground please.
Great park for a gathering of any short! There is a shaded picnic area. They offer two play areas one being a toddler park! There is something for everyone, you can walk or maybe shoot some hoops?! I noticed a swimming pool that's currently closed I presume bc its winter weather right now lol. Very peaceful park with open space!
Jesse Davis park, of Douglasville. Put on wind down Wednesdays for the summer. Bring your lawn chair and picnic baskets and beverages of choice! Bring the family. There are lots of vendors!
It was a back to school event was packed out but didn't have books bags for my 8 year old daughter or my 14 year old son
Indoor facility is great. Perfect for meetings and other events.
Nice little park, usually empty the times I've been. Picnic area has a grill and there's another smaller playground for the little kids. There's also a basketball court, swimming pool, and a football field.
Why would you get rid of the swimming pool for the whole family to enjoy! Make it Make sense. Now parents have to watch kids have fun only. You making the pool only 4ft. We want to swim to and we're the ones paying taxes to fund it. Every racial background, income background and religion background came to swim here with their families or Familia
My first visit, the park located in Douglasville. Went to their Wind Down Wednesday. I had a great time!!!! Would visit again.
It was a nice crowd of ppl there playing playing ball. Which was cool. My kids enjoyed them self. Parents do need to watch their kids while there. We was bbqing and a kid jumped right on our table with our food asking what we cooking can she have some and more. I was lost for a second but had to remember it's it's child and not her fault. Parents do better and teaching your kids about strangers personal space
Wonderful place to walk your pet. Lots of people workout and walk around the park. There are some really great basketball courts, who knows you might see the next great NBA stars in the making. There is also a recreation center with all kinds of activities for all ages. At the time I go the restrooms are always clean. There is also a football field. Have fun. A
