The Downtown Allentown Growers Market a sustainable market as well as a community gathering place in Allentown's downtown where citizens can access healthy, local produce, thereby creating a farm-city connection and assisting revitalization of the downtown while protecting Eastern Pennsylvania's farmlands.
This project is supported by the friends of the Plaza Growers Market, a group of citizen volunteers, supporting the market through organizing music, events and community tables.
