Dr. Blackmer Eye Doctor

I have been going to Dr. Blackmer for years and now that’s over. I recently went in for a routine ck up and was charged for refraction test which I found out was charged without me knowing that was extra. No one tell’s you this and I dont buy eye glasses. Point being I gave my card as I usually do when I walk in only to find out that the refraction test after the visit is out of network! Front desk said I haven’t had that done in yrs and I know I have it done every year. And not of for it. No one said certain test are not covered. and the front doesn’t know what the back is doing so no one knows what a routine exam is? No one talks to each other and the customer me and others are being charged. Only do what I’m in for not more ! Bad communication and like someone else said assistants are very impersonal. Sorry but customer service and info is no more. I’m done goodbye Picayune eye clinic.

Dr. Lori Blackmer has been my optometrist since I was old enough to need one. She and her staff are sweet and very helpful.
