Dr Mike's Walk In Clinic

We were denied medical care here, despite the sign out front stating “all patients welcome.” We are visiting from out of state. Our daughter has a UTI. We initially presented our insurance card to see if we were covered. They did not accept our insurance, which is understandable. What is NOT understandable or in anyway acceptable is that we were not permitted to pay for care out of pocket. We spoke with two staff members who stated that because we have insurance which they don’t accept they will not allow us to pay for services. If we hadn’t shown an insurance card, they would have taken out of pocket payment. I can’t even believe this is legal. We are being refused care for having insurance.

I highly recommend Dr Mike’s Walk in Clinic on Bear Valley Rd, Hesperia. All my experiences at Dr Mike’s have been outstanding. I have been to one on Hesperia Rd once in 2020. My recent experience on Sept 2 at the Bear Valley location was excellent. I was worried that there would be a long wait because I went there at about 5:30 on a Saturday evening during the Labor Day weekend. I was so fortunate that no one was in the Waiting Room. One patient was leaving as I entered. I was booked in and giving my sample fluid within minutes. This is important for an older lady of 78 who is in severe pain. I was then seen by a doctor in 10 minutes and she had seen the results of the urine test. I was sent on my way with a prescription sent to a pharmacy of my choice within another 15 minutes. I was so impressed by the efficiency and kindness of the prompt urgent care. I know I have spent more than 45 minutes just waiting to register in the Urgent Care of Loma Linda and Desert Valley so what a pleasant surprise to be all done in 40 minutes. And the pain and discomfort addressed efficiently. You have my highest recommendation and thanks.

The receptionists were kind & professional. Dr. Brewah was amazing with caring for & listening to my daughter’s concerns! We felt comfortable and seen! It was also very refreshing that she looked like us! We are very pleased with our visit!

The nursing staff was great. However the actual visit with the Dr wasn’t the best. We waited about 3 hours just to interact with the doctor for about 2 mins. Left with a prescription for antibiotics but he didn’t even bother to let us know what I actually had or if it was contagious. I’d say the only thing that needs improvement is the doctors interaction with the patient

I got an appt for physical required by my new employment. I love the fact that the Dr. Lady Checked me really well. Also they pass me inside the room in a shirt amount of time.. the girls were really polyte and friendly.. thank you.

This office is extremely unprofessional and out dated. Save yourself time and energy by going elsewhere. Tips for the doctors: have your returning patients complete labs and x-rays before they show up so you don’t have to have a wasted visit of telling them to do labs and x-rays create a e-visit system for this then use a face to face appointment to go over the labs and x-rays. It is more efficient this way. That way one visit isn’t like “ oh let’s do labs and X-rays and then you can back” waste of time for both the patient and the doctor and the other is like “oh this is what your labs say” like wow I had to come all this way for this 5 min appointment twice

I went in at 7pm to get my daughter's Sports Physical. We got out around 8:10pm. It took a little while since they told me there was one Doctor. But over all , I fell that it is convenient and good service. Specially since we didn't have a. Appointment, we went in as a walk in.

My experience with them was completely awesome. I was a walk in because I knew I would be seen quicker than with my primary doctor. The receptionists were awesome, also the staff that treated me. I have nothing but good things to say about them & wouldn't hesitate to visit them again.

My family experience was very nice and educational. During our visit inside the office was nice and cool compared to outside weather. The waiting was not long at all. Back office waiting room organized and optional educational videos to watch.

Walked in when they opened was taken back almost immediately. Saw the doctor quickly. He provided the medication needed and my prescription was ready within a few hours after the holiday weekend. Thank you Dr.Mikes!
