"We are a Seafood restaurant and Fish Market all of our fish is delivered fresh daily, we do a LOT of take out as well as some dine inside and outside depending on the season. We have 6-7 tables inside due to covid laws and 6’social distancing then we have 10-12 picnic tables outside. Family friendly atmosphere and friendly staff: freshly remodeled as of 1/1/21 we no longer Cary live lobster and steamers but we have lobster meat and all other fish market items still!"

Great service!!! fast and friendly!!! My husband had clam chowder, crabmeat roll and lobster nuggets he loved everything but the nuggets were phenomenal. I had corn chowder, haddock nuggets, coleslaw and fries everything that I had was wicked awesome the haddock nuggets were soooo good and nice and fresh!!! The corn chowder is the best I've ever had they put bacon in it so gives it a great extra level of flavor makes it taste incredible!!!! And they have diet orange soda yummmmmm!!!! They also have fresh seafood you can order!!! We will definitely be going back soon and often!!!
Great service, great food, great prices. Love the indoor and outdoor seating option. Seafood is so fresh here and everything tasted great, even the fried seafood. When we went, twin lobster and crab cake and a drink was $28. Mark the chef is wonderful and Maria who works the counter is so sweet!! Highly recommend this place!
Best lobster roll and fries we had our entire trip! So glad we got off the interstate for regular fast food. As out of town guest we would definitely recommend this place.
Traveling on business, in a pinch for time, stopped in for takeout and could be happier. Lobsters, the stew, bisque, and roll were all very excellent.

This is a little shack with amazing food. The name Docks Boathouse sounds fancy; it is not. While there are tables inside and out, this isn't what I'd call a dining experience restaurant. However, it's one of the best places to go for a seafood dinner. We ordered takeout for a large group that included lobsters, lobster rolls, fried seafood, onion rings, sweet potatoe fries, french fries and coleslaw. The prices were beyond reasonable for seafood and the portions were huge; except for the coleslaw which came in tiny containers. I loved that the lobster roll had the mayo on the side. All of the seafood was fantastic, as were the onion rings. Both types of fries were very good and the coleslaw was colorful, but a little bland. On the whole, it was an amazing meal for everyone. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area. It did close at 8pm though, so check the time. Go hungry and leave the fancy clothes at home.
We enjoyed two meals, one fried clams and one fish and chips. Both were excellent, fresh and delicious. We also had clam chowder which was pretty good as well. We ordered lobsters to go and the jury is still out as we haven't eaten then yet, but expect them to be good as well. We would definitely way here again!
We stopped in today to use our G.C. our daughter had given us for a gift. We used the whole $40. We ordered the coconut shrimp and fried haddock dinners. Long story short. Everything was over fried and greasy. Maybe a bad night. The cashier asked us how our meal was. We told her. She apologized. Will not be back. We use to love this place. :Update: Thank you to the owner for your quick reply and wanting to do good by us. We will be in touch.
As a self-proclaimed fried clam connoisseur, I was extremely happy when I opened the box full of small, lightly battered, perfectly fried not over done or greasy, little clam gems. Delicious! To top it off, it was a warm day in January! & I ate outside at the picnic table soaking up the sun while savoring my Maine tender, whole belly clams! Good price as well. I’ll be back!
Super-fresh fried haddock, scallops, shrimp impeccably prepared, alongside homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce, and best fries I've had in ages. Everyone was sincerely friendly and helpful, and the prices are best we have seen in area. Very clean, too. Really impressed, and can't fault it at all. Thank you!
