Head coach, Judy Wilson, is a proven winner on an off the field of play, and DSC believe's we have the right individual to build the foundation of the DSC cross country program and be the leader our program in the years to come.
"We want to provide as many opportunities as possible for student-athletes to attend and excel in higher education," said Will Dunne, Daytona State College athletics director. Noting the men's and women's cross country will add eight more athletic scholarships, four for each team of 10, he said it will open up new recruiting opportunities for local high school students to attend DSC. "Our athletes have a strong record of performance in their sport and in the classroom. These student-athletes will be able to play their sport for two years, get a great, affordable education and be more likely to graduate and move on to a four-year university."
