Dusty Boots Motel and Cafe

I recently had an amazing experience at Dusty Boots Motel. Booking was a breeze, and from start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The restaurant's diverse food selection was a pleasant surprise, and the option for bottomless coffee was a definite win. The 24-hour laundry room was a convenient feature that I greatly appreciated. What stood out was their thoughtful extras – borrowing sleds and chalk for White Sands National Park was a unique touch that made my stay memorable. Dusty Boots Motel truly goes above and beyond. From booking to amenities, it's an exceptional choice for a comfortable stay.

We had an excellent stay! This cute little motel is located within easy walking distance of the Cloudcroft brewery, the chamber of commerce/community park, and the farmers market. It is extremely comfortable to sit outside the room with the door open and just watch the traffic go by. We stayed in The Garage room. It is so fricken cool!! We did get to look into some other rooms and were equally impressed with the decor. We'll be back!

So this is a very subjective review. If you love bear motif and sort of cabinish decor, you will love this place. It isn't my thing, but it was clean and comfortable and sort of fun in its own way. I only spent one night there, so I really can't speak about the service. Walkability: There is a cafe associated with a hotel, and there is another restaurant that has longer hours within a five-minute walk.

The motel is a quaint place with each room having its own theme. The few issues we had were more of a comfort nature than a quality issue. Firstly, the mattresses were a substandard quality that are way too soft. Secondly, the parking is too small for the number of rooms.Rooms: 4/5

Did not eat or stay at this place. I used their laundromat. As a full-time rver for the past 7 years I have been to a lot of laundromat and this one is by far the worst I have ever been to. Half the waters we out of order, the ones that did work were filthy. Every thing in the whole place was filthy. If this is how they maintain their laundromat I would be afraid to stay in the motel or eat in the Cafe. Unfortunately there is no other laundromat in Cloudcroft.

Perfect and fun place to stay except they need to put towel racks, and a soap holder in the shower. Totally enjoyed my visit. The staff was wonderful and the restaurant.

Loved this place. Cute themed rooms in a nice area. Bunkbed room was fun for the kids. Price wasn’t bad at all but we were there during the offseason. Plenty of sightseeing to do in the area, hope to come back. Not even half the shops downtown were open so that was a bummer. Cafe was pretty darn good too!

If you're heading to Cloudcroft and need a great place to stay we highly recommend Dusty Boots Motel! They have the coolest themed rooms that make your stay feel really special and one of a kind! The rooms are equipped with comfortable and clean beds, great heaters, cute refrigerators, microwaves, coffee station and more! Another added benefit is their complimentary banana bread you can get next door at the Dusty Boots Diner. The diner is really cozy and their food portions are way bigger than we anticipated. We left with full/warm bellies and great memories were made! The owners Vicki and Dusty are very down to earth and their staff is great! We can't wait to return during Ski season for another great time with great people.

This place is fantastic each room is decorated in a different theme, I had the oil room with The Beverly hillbillies theme. I definitely recommend this place, right next door they have a restaurant great food!!! It looks like it's newly remodeled very clean and comfortable. Great location on the edge of town closer to the forest. If you're ever in Cloudcroft New Mexico I definitely recommend to stay at this place!!!

I loved this place! Really cute rooms. Nice and warm. The owner is super sweet and accommodating. We will have all our guests stay here if we don’t have the space.
