We have a lot of our large family events here. It's the perfect place for reunions, parties, or receptions. It's also great to come play at the playground because it's rarely overcrowded.
Great place to have party's and gatherings or just go and enjoy the outdoors.
Very nice area and the kids love the creek. Wonderful place to spend the day.
It was an extremely clean place to go to. It was out of the way from the city which was a big plus. We had an incredible time there grilling out and enjoying family. It can be a little confusing getting around the area, but that is mostly due to it being my first time. I would highly recommend this place for any get together.

My son loves the playground, creek and camp ground. It's a great little home town camp ground for a little relaxing and getawa.
Even though it says Eastman Cabins and Recreation Area there's no Cabins it's just covered areas for like picnics and get togethers. It's all in the woods so make sure you bring bug spray but really nice and private not much parking for each one so be prepared to double park or ride together
Overall great! Not everyone cleaned up properly after Memorial Day celebrations though. Left lots of red, white, and blue litter.
Nice family place. Good playgrounds, although some not all of the equipment could stand an update. Picnic shelters are kept clean and there are a few smaller ones that are tucked into shade near the creek that offer a peaceful break. Great place to have a family reunion, birthday party, or any gathering of family and friends.
Great place for large gatherings or parties. Bathrooms are in a few places so no matter which shelter you are at its not a very far walk to get to one. Playground is quite adequate for kids of every age. It's a wooded area so it is absolutely beautiful.
