Previously I have praised this rental company for their great customer service and cleanliness of vehicles. Unfortunately, this last rental received clearly shown by the picture of the bald tires placed my family and I at risk. When renting I trusted the disclosure of damages they were already aware of would not compromise my safety since the vehicle was being rented out. Damages advised were undercarriage and rear rim damage. Upon return I advised staff of the tires being bald and alignment was horrible as we were driving. Due to it raining during travel caused us to fishtail which was very scary with my children in the vehicle and we were 5 hours away from home. Ms. Banks response was to simply “nothing we can do about it due to the tires being fine when the last person rented it….. maybe it’s just bad tires” “And you didn’t call.” What is one to call and say when at this point you are in an entire different state? To avoid the continuation of an elevated tone and not wanting to speak to Ms. Banks in any ignorant manner I allowed my husband to further discuss the matter and left. I do not appreciate the lack of accountability and certainly feel the situation was not rectified in the correct manner.
Economy Rent a Car is exceptional. Sidney and Candice not only deliver excellent customer service, but great rates as well. To say they go over and beyond is an underestimate! Thank you for always being friendly and helpful!
Convenient. Shuttle driver was excellent. Service inside was very efficient.
These ladies helped us out when we were in dire need of a rental. They were very polite, helpful and bent over backwards to accommodate us in a time of need. I would highly recommend using them to anyone who needs a rental.
Really no cars from that one picture I S.W. of that red car I wouldn’t dare rent from you guys sorry
Renters beware!!! The ladies that work there are stressed out because they are constantly screwing people over. They charged me for 4 days when I had the car less than 72 hours and tried to claim thet gave me a deal... they might have had a car when Enterprise didn't, but their prices are incredibly high. I now understand why the ladies are called names when they charge you way more than what they are supposed to. I will never return or refer this place.
They saved the day when Enterprise Rental Car falsely represented having cars available. Economy came thru with a better a car and an excellent rate!! So pleased with the service ladies as well!! I'll be back again! They have a new customer for life.
My first time renting a car! I went in payed my deposit on Monday, came back on Friday to pick the car up very fast and friendly! Brought the car back in the condition I left with it. The grand Cherokee we rented was awesome! I read the reviews but all 3 women were very nice to us and very respectful to our needs. I will definitely be back to do business with them again!!!
Don't get fooled by their name, there's nothing "ecomy " about this place, on top of your rental price which is not cheap they're going to hit you with another sweet bill because of millage usage. Hotel, food and gifts for my 4 kids and wife was cheaper than the car rental.
My initial experience was really good. The First Lady I spoke with was helpful, conversational and made things joyful. The vehicle we used for our trip did it’s job and we had no problems. But then we returned the vehicle and things became uncomfortable. The lady that finalized the contract whose name I will leave anonymous accused us of having taken our dog. I explained that the fur was from our luggage and the blanket my wife and daughter used on the trip. Any dog owner knows about fur issues sticking to practically any kind of fabric. The lady, however, would not relent. “This isn’t my first rodeo”, she told me as if that confirmed I was a liar. I explained it again about the luggage and the blanket. She continued to point out the evidence; guilty until proven innocent. It wasn’t until I had had enough and told her that I was serious about my faith and that we are commanded not to lie and that I was not lying and that our dog had not been in that vehicle. I even asked if she wanted to speak to my wife and ask her about the trip, but she decided not to. She finally gave me the “benefit of a doubt,” as she put it. I feel that 3-stars is a bit kind, however, she did apologize later which I do appreciate and I shouldn’t lump the whole company in with one bad experience. However, given that we will continue to be dog owners and any bit of accompanying fur seems too great of evidence of having broken the “no pets” rule and the frustration of having to defend myself numerous times for a crime I didn’t commit, I will likely not be a returning as a customer to this particular location. I may sooner go to Enterprise seeing as I have never had a poor experience with them before.
