Terrible experience!!!!!!! First a guy on the phone said we could rent the car, we reserved it and when we got there the next morning all of a sudden the policy is different, nobody knows who answered the phone to take the reservation!! THEN they have dead tags, the cars can’t get inspected because one didn’t have a horn and been in a wreck. These cowards are unprofessional and will throw anybody on the street who doesn’t like how they conduct business. I’d give them a -5 but here’s my 2cents!
Fast & friendly! All you need is driver's license & proof of insurance. If you don't have full coverage you will have to buy their insurance though. they take cash, credit, & debit.
Last night I talked to them 3 times and once this morning. I was told over and over that they accepted any debit card, any prepaid card, cash etc etc. They gave me the total price of renting the vehicle. Unfortunately when I got there I was informed there would be an additional $100 hold on my card that I was NEVER told, AND the card I was using? They won't take. I am retired from the NC School System and this is the card my retirement is deposited to. It's good enough for State Retirement but not for them. I then advised him that in the future to try and be completely honest when people called... He kicked me out of his store. I'm 64 years old. So not a real pleasant interaction.
My sister rented a van to take her kids to Florida on Sunday May 23rd. Luckily my grandpa looked at the car right before they left and he noticed the two front tires were completely bald with the wires showing. Please everyone read the reviews on this place before you rent a vehicle, and check the vehicle out very good before getting into it. Cheaper isnt always better.
Literally the worst place to rent a car from all though it is cheaper please go to a different place the extra money will be far more worth it. We rent a van for ladies trip months in advance called a week before to confirm the man on the phone told us we we getting a town and country van just for us to end up with a compact suv that barely fit us or our belongings. The exhaust rattled, bad acceleration, car beeped for no reason, no Bluetooth, awful on gas spent over 400 dollars in gas to Florida round trip. When we returned and told the desk about our problems he stated “ you shouldn’t have took the car” after we had paid in advance and the trip was the next day. Please go somewhere else terrible experience
If i could rate this place a -5 i would! This is the worse place to rent a car from! The man confirmed we were getting a mini van and ended up with a suv that barely held our belongings. Also the exhaust pipe was knocking and the brakes were squeaking really bad when we finally arrived to Florida! The guy was rude and unprofessional when we took the car back and told him about our problems!!
Can’t lie when you you need a vehicle for cheap this is the place but I was in the pasanger seat and when I tell you so many cop cars came because the car was reported stolen. It’s a lil embarrassing honestly to pay all that money and watch the plates get taken off the car and drive home with out. I was embarrassed for my friend honestly they over charge on used horrible used vehicles not even up to date or fitting for a decent family. This place is a whole in a wall superseded they haven’t been shut down with the fake plates at least. But overall okay place just they need to be up to date with all the money they are making
Do not see how this place makes any money considering they arent flexible at all with their cars and not to mention half of them have stolen tags on them. They are cheap for a reason and dude on the phone yelled at me before i got off the phone. Terrible place. Do not give them your business.
They sell their cars after they are done with them. Dont buy one. They sold me a 2015 Malibu last year. It doesnt run because of the trackers they rig into the starter. They do not remove the trackers when they sell you the car. I've been having issues for months. Perfectly good looking car, 5k plus more on trying to figure this out, just sitting as a lawn ornament in my yard. EDIT: They definitely sell their cars with trackers. I have the receipt from when they sold me the car. Do not let them lie to you. It's pretty unprofessional to go out of your way to respond, and not to admit you might have done wrong. All I would want is an idea of what your mechanics have done to my car. It's a shame you couldnt even offer help.
Stay away ....First off they charge you different prices than whats on their website! No one is in the office on Saturdays but their sign says that they are open BUT THEIR NOT REALLY THERE.I rented from them for weeks and will definitely NEVER ever again. They are just the worst car rental place I have ever dealt with. Everyone is rude even when returning the car the guy argued with me about the day i returned the car. A $200 deposit was put on the car and $77.96 was returned he said the reason why was because when you keep it an extra day your fee doubles. Well $67 x2 is 134 isn't it but its ok PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE THE CAR WAS DIRTY AND didn't run well but you live and you learn
