Eden Bicycles is a locally owned and operated bicycle store in the East Bay. We are a full service shop that sells bicycles, apparel, and accessories in addition to providing service and repair on all bikes. We are the only Shimano Certified Service Center in the East Bay as well as a Campagnolo Pro Shop, Fox Suspension Service Center as well as Bosch Electric bicycle motor Certified. We have a full selection of kids, recreational and enthusiast bicycles.

Our current bicycle lines include Giant, Pinarello,Santa Cruz Mountain Bikes, Foundry Cycles, Electra, and Haro (in addition to trade-in bikes).

According to Continental tires, Eden bicycle shop is an authorized Continental dealer. I've been using Continental tires for years I'll find them to be reliable. A relatively new Continental tire as evidenced by deep, lightly used wear holes I bought show thousands of small cracks very suddenly. I was surprised, as I said, Continental tires over the years have been amazing and long-lasting. I took my tire to Eden bicycle shop, as they are an authorized Continental bicycle tire dealer. I was directed to do so by Continental tire rep, Daniel Gay. At the Eden bicycle shop, I was told any warranty interactions will cost $40. warranty handling fee. So, if you buy something with a warranty and you decide to claim it as defective, you have to pay a $40 fee before they can help you. That renders the warranty useless. Clever business move in the short term and a bad move for returning business. I found the personnel of Eden bike shop to be very nice and helpful when you want to buy something but apparently not too helpful when you want to take care of an warranty issue with authorized dealer. Disappointed...
Great experience buying a Stumpjumper from Eden cycles. They have all the sickest bikes. And if they don’t have your specific bike, they can find one, which they did for me. Fast! John helped me to choose the right one, then set it up to perfection. John answered all of my questions authoritatively and went through all of the bike’s features. Still blown away by the technology and craftsmanship of the Stumpy. Pricey, but every penny accounted for. Talk to John, get a new bike from Eden, hit the trails and your life will be better.
Great customer service! I ordered a frame online, they shipped it to me and worked with me on a warranty issue to ultimately satisfy my needs. They had great communication and follow up for me being thousands of miles away. If you live here locally I’m 100% positive this would be a great shop to work with. Thanks Eden Bicycles!
I was lucky enough to find a Santa Cruz Tallboy in stock on their online shop over 4th of July weekend… I was flying in from Europe that following Tuesday and driving to Chico to visit family & friends.. I contacted the shop to let them know my situation and asked if they could kindly have it ready… They told me that it usually takes about 2 working days from when the order is placed but they would do their best.. Amazingly, they prioritized my bike and had it ready by the end of the day!! They helped me adjust the shocks to my correct weight, gave me heaps of tips, and were extremely helpful! They have tons of cool merch, awesome bikes, and most importantly a great team! Thanks guys!
Everything you want and need from a friendly neighborhood bike shop. Thank you Andrew for sharing your favorite nearby trails as well as helping us newbies put the bike rack on our car in the sweltering heat. We will be back for sure! Support local!
Amazing service and team. Chris the owner, John, Gethyn and Chris answered all my questions, provided great advice for a new rider. Full fitting process was enlightening. Will be visiting years to come and enjoying my new ride with Eden.
Absolutely poor customer service. I needed to have my disc brake pads replaced on my Ebike. I was told that because my bike has a throttle they would not work on it. I offered to disconnect the throttle and remove the battery and was still told that they would not service the bike. What a ridiculous store policy. I have been here before to buy helmets and the service then was also barely provided by the staff. Totally unhappy with this bike shop.
I've bought 3 bikes from Eden Bikes and they do not disappoint. Their service is phenomenal and they always get back to me promptly. I had a broken shift cable on one of my bikes that occurred within the first year of ownership and they replaced it in a day free of charge. Chris and his staff are the kindest and most knowledgeable out there. I've had experiences at other bike shops that weren't so great, but not at Eden. Don't hesitate to stop by and check out their sweet selection of bikes.

The wheel you sold me wasn’t much more than if I bought it it on Amazon, but the two tools I would have needed to buy to fix my own would have doubled what it cost to have you guys do the work. You interrupted your other work to do this 10 minute fix. And you didn’t charge me the full labor costs. I appreciate your service and recommend your shop to anyone who needs bike help.
