Edwardsville Care and Rehabilitation is a long term care facility, providing mental health, and medical, services to those with a chronic mental illness.
Edwardsville Care and Rehabilitation Center (ECRC) is a 100 bed, long term care facility, providing mental health and medical services to individuals age 18 and up, that have been diagnosed with a schizophrenic, mood, paranoid, panic or other severe anxiety disorder; somatoform disorder; personality disorder; or other psychotic disorder.
We are located just minutes South from Legends shopping center and the Speedway race track off I-70 and I-435.
Residents will be evaluated and cared for by our team of psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and social workers. ECRC offers skilled services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and restorative services to qualified residents.
The ECRC team realizes that living with a mental illness can often become overwhelming, and that more than medication is needed to help manage the symptoms an individual may experience. We offer a holistic approach that treats the mind, body, and spirit through programs like exercise, yoga, music, art, and recreational therapy. In order to meet the spiritual needs of our residents, we also offer multiple religious programs. Additionally, we have walking programs in the community, a bi-weekly library bus which allows our residents the ability to check out library materials, and monthly outings to restaurants and local stores.
The ECRC team is committed to providing the highest level of care to our residents. We strive to provide compassionate and comprehensive care and support. Our approach is to give each resident every opportunity for meaningful progress toward the stability of their health and well-being.
