Food is good if you get enough on your taco…service was terrible. I ordered over the phone to go. We ordered 24 tacos. the employee the. asked me over the phone if I would like them to include any habanero and jalapeño sauce along with it. I said, yeah 3 each. And she said how many of the salsas do you think and I said “I don’t know, however many you think we need for 24 tacos i guess.” She responded with “alright your total will be $54 and xxx cents.” We get to the window and she goes “is it fine your total was calculated wrong, it is $72.50” then we get to the WHY it was changed. She gave us 11 tiny sauce containers of the habanero and jalapeño sauces charging us $1 per tiny container of sauce. NEVER at any Mexico food place whether taco truck or restaurant have we ever been charged for tiny sauce containers, and and not only that but it was not communicated. We handed them back all of those extra sauces. Then top it all off with 80% of our 24 tacos only have 1 piece of meat, we definitely didn’t order vegetarian! not going back.
The burritos we bought were pretty good……. But we ordered a large chip with queso and I’ll never do that again! We got 2 of the smallest bags of chips for $4 like seriously wow there was about 5 chips in each bag! But there cook time is great.
Eaten here a few times, during a carryout order was overcharged for cheese sauce, paid an astronomical amount think it was about 5$ for a "large" cheese sauce for our chips and received the world's tiniest amount size of a ketchup cup and not even full, called to try and fix the situation and had some rude employee laugh and tell me there was nothing he could do about it and would have the owner call me in a little bit, nobody ever called back. They even charge for hot sauce when you're dining in. Chips were oily and soggy, and meat was cheap fatty cuts. El loro isn't too far away, I'd spend your money there for better service and quality.
If you love Mexican food then you have to visit this place. Limited parking and seating however awesome food for sure. Close to outlet malls. Quick service. You have to try their jalapeno and sriracha salsa. Very reasonable prices. Delivery seems to be very popular. Good size portions as well. Don't worry about the "hole in the wall" appearance, one of our favorite places to visit.
Service was great!!! Super cute local Mexican place. Shrimp and pork were the best tacos!!! Chicken and steak were okay…pollo loco was SO good!! The cheese sauce and salsa 10/10! Will definitely come back when in town.
Ordered a Philly sandwich bread rock hard. Could not even cut it with a knife. The manager didn't even apologize. Instead just told the employee what I said. Would not recommend!!Food: 1/5
Super friendly staff, small but very clean restaurant. Loved the big windows and TVs. We are outside which was a nice option. The pollo loco was not pleasing to my taste buds but my husband loved it. I had asked for the shrimp to be left out due to my allergy. My husband knew the shrimp would have made it perfect. I enjoyed his steak burrito instead. Nothing remarkable but I would reccomend going here. We'll be back to try other food on the menu. Love that they offer chorizo on the menu too!
Ive had steak tacos from this location about three times since I moved to the area and each time I’ve received ice cold tacos. Twice being from drive-thru orders. Today I get home and each taco is individually wrapped in foil but cold to the touch. I thought maybe all the warmth was just inside, being that’s the sole purpose of the foil, but literally the tacos were so cold I swear they must’ve been sitting the fridge. Once, maybe twice if I waited a long time, I can understand the lack of heat. But to have tacos be ice cold to the touch only 3 minutes after leaving the drive through? It doesn’t make sense. Do better.
The 1st time I ate here it was really good but the second time I went back it was pretty gross, my meat had a weird taste to it and the rice was old and overcooked also they forgot the tortillas for my fajitas. The beans were good atleast.Food: 1/5
I grew up in Houston Texas, now in Minnesota, and have been looking for a true Mexican/Latin flavor. We have been here numerous times and never fails.Food: 5/5
