I had the opportunity to look into my preplanning prep for burial with Theresa Trần and she was very thoughtful of my needs: especially coming from Asian cultures lots of superstitions and location of body etc. She was super supportive of my choices and helped me decide what I need and what’s best for my family. We tour the whole place and decided what’s best. I like the fact that they are connected to all over United States with Dignity Memorial if I need to change. Never thought I would preplan these things before.
I lost my son unexpectedly and was devastated. He was in another city. El Camino took over from the coroners office and had him flown very reasonably and I can’t say it was easy but it was less I had to deal with. They were very flexible with how I wanted to accommodate 300 people in 4 days. Chris made it so easy during a time a time where nothing made sense. A time where it hadn’t hit yet and all I could do is make demands and not be my polite self. Chris worked so hard with event planner Cris Joseph to bring him in via flight, get the death certificate, plan a 300 Person service using the grounds and the grounds and indoor rooms/facility to have an amazing memorial/celebration of life to honor Shaun. Thanks to the staff and to Chris from the bottom of my heart. I wish no one has to read a review to choose because that means you lost someone.. if it’s too late and you’re reading my review please consult with them. And if you need my contact information please ask them
El Camino has been helping me and my family for the past 13 years. I purchased a plot last year and recently purchased a travel insurance for me and my mom. The benefit is so great that I also encouraged my sister, aunt, and friends to buy. I believed, after I purchased mine, 6 of my friends and family have bought theirs. Susan has been nothing but the best! A very friendly and a professional lady. I am at ease whenever I travel more than 70 miles away from home.
My mother passed away and had already had most of her funeral arrangements in place, so I did not have to negotiate those. The staff I interacted with were kind and helpful, and I didn't have to trouble myself with many things because of their professionalism. I was pleased at how tasteful and supportive they were, without overstepping any boundaries of propriety. Now both of my parents are buried together in a beautiful setting surrounded by mature trees and a sense of peace. I personally appreciate that there are not headstones and monuments, but each grave is marked with a descriptive bronze plaque. It enhances the loveliness of the memorial park, and the feeling that we are all equal in death. I have an aunt and uncle whose ashes are interred at the memorial park, and it is a visually pleasing area of peace and solace as well.
We had the blessing and privilege to work with Kaycee Carroll to choose appropriate plots at El Camino for ourselves. My wife and I were deeply impressed by Kaycee’s wonderful professionalism and gracious kindness in leading us through many possibilities and options available at El Camino. The whole experience was gentle and gracious and thorough. We were very much impressed by the many options and especially the wonderfully professional and compassionate service!
Both my parents and a step-parent are buried here. I always have a nice and pleasant experience when I visit their crypts and grave site. Thank you El Camino for taking such good care of your facility. They make what would otherwise be a very difficult visit - simply lovely.

We appreciate all the care that was given to us at El Camino Memorial. We could not have asked for any better services. They helped us through a difficult time. We never felt pressure on anything. We cannot say enough, but thank you for helping us on this difficult journey.
My family and I would like to pass along our sincere thanks for all that was done by Gloria Wells and Tayler Lodge to make our father's Visitation, Funeral Mass and Interment beautiful and memorable for us. I appreciate them for their timely responses on email and making themselves available to us during the holidays. The funeral attendants Scott and Michael were awesome with their communication and handling of the days activities. Everything was done very smoothly and professionally by them. Thank you to Frederick for his support during the Visitation.
My family and I had a good relationship with El Camino Memorial for years. The staff are very helpful and compassionate with our needs. I would like to give special thanks to Kendall for her patience with me. God bless El Camino Memorial
