Went for lunch and had a great time. The hubby ordered the Tomahawk and it was cooked perfectly and great flavor. I ordered sushi and aguachiles which were delicious. Portions are very generous!!!Food: 5/5

The food was excellent. It was our 23 wedding anniversary, and we had food at a casino the day before and spent more, and we were unimpressed. I actually got sick from that horrible food. This food. Waay better!!! Service excellent. It was an early dinner so not a lot of customers were there yet. I gave only 3 stars for atmosphere related to that. A restaurant should be an excellent fun place to be any time of day.....we will be trying it again
Bought a 22 dollar drink that came with a free fly. Made waiter aware wich looked at me like there was nothing she could do, then called manager no help either she said the best she could do is refund me partial for a fly in my drink!!!!!!!!! Because i already drank off of it. Horrible customer service and clearly not sanitary.
Great decor and overall fun vibe. Nice mix of traditional mex dishes and many many seafood options. Also have an extensive foofy drink menu, some with shrimp in them. We went for Cinco de mayo and arrived before 5 to get seated right away. Hobart also has a nice-looking downtown area. I had the El Pirata which included shrimp, octopus and scallops. I would have enjoyed it had the seafood been seered a little bit and less garlic, less liquid on the plate. Still tasty.
Unbelievable!!! I cannot believe this place has been here so long and we just came for the first time. If you like El Barco and the Nayarit place across the street in the city you will LOVE it here! They are just as good and maybe better! Fantastic seafood choices and amazing Nayarit sauce. The traditional Mexican you're used to is also out of sight. Our service was exceptional AND the restaurant itself is very nice inside; much nicer than it looks from the street.
$180 Dollars for Five people! We ordered three asada steak dinner but the other two plates were basic we got more bang for are buck in olive garden the other day where I paid $140 for five people, with ice tea and one dessert not only that the food arrived at our table overcooked the steak was chewy and potatoes undercooked raw, service was ok but the tip was automatically placed on our bill without our knowledge also the food you are given dose not match the photo on the menu exactly so be careful. I uploaded an image of our bill we will not be going back!
This was my 1st time dining at the establishment. It is highly praised and recommended. But, I was not impressed with their food. We were a party of 14, and 10 of us were not satisfied with our order. The plate of food looks good beef tacos with rice & beans but it wasn't. The restaurant was decorated beautifully. The Mariachi band sounded great! But, that's it. I won't be returning.
I ordered the salmon sushi and it was basically all rice with thin slices of cooked salmon on it. The sushi provided did not match the description in the menu. When we told the general manager of our dissatisfaction, she repeatedly said that we'll have to pay for what we ordered. We should have known better to never have ordered sushi in a Mexican restaurant. Our waiter was excellent, but we did not appreciate the poor reception and service of the manager. She also said that her boss will not refund us even though we are dissatisfied with the false advertisement if the sushi plate.
There is nothing better than an Awesome meal..Food: 5/5
