Sonia is an awesome friendly personable bartender/server. Chips and salsa, which I use as a base for my Mexican restaurants, are great. The Queso dip was a great add and the flauta dinner was really great. I would recommend
Went in many times now great food and service. Never a disappointment going in. Love the work they have put into their patio. The owners are so nice and amazing its hard to find places that take pride in everything they do but glad to see the love they put into everything. Great family owned businesses. Ive been to both locations and never a dissappiontment.
I really love the tacos they due at Hobarts Thursdays market. I didn't know that they didn't have them at the restaurant. But there food is good, the service is great. I will definitely find them at the market, to get their special tacos...
Not authentic mexican food. The sister in-law makes the fresh canned salsa. The place has good potential but they need real Mexicans to show them the way. The waitress had way too much perfume it was hard to breathe when she came around. 2 hours later at a store people smelled her perfume on me.I wish the owner would try his competitors food and learn from it.
Used to love coming here the food was above any Mexican food in area but they opened too soon weren't prepared and the building they are in was falling apartold police station building. Leaks in the dinner area buckets everywhere. They have been closed for almost over a year for repairs and renovations. Hopefully they come back looking better than ever. Speed it up guys!
My waiter was very friendly and respectful. He also gave me a tour of the building and shared some of it's history. The food was great and he got it to us very Quickly. I'll be back!
This place has potential it seems to me they are leaning towards more of a bar than a dine in. Not authentic Mexican food. So one cold tortilla chips “bagged” had a party there no garbage cans simple stuff!! 2 uni bathrooms but no water pressure no paper towels so you have to touch the handle on the way out. Ps make real frijoles
Great food and great people. Definitely check this place out, and consider the queso dip if you're a fellow cheese head! Brandon the manager is very personable if you have the chance to meet him.
RAW FISH!! PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE!! This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. I've been working in the restaurant industry for 6+ years as a server for the public.. So i can somewhat tell how things are supposed to be ran. I walk in.. And the staff is running around like chickens with their heads cut off, There was 1.. I repeat 1 party table of about 15.. In the whole place!! And if you're In the business.. You know taking care of that is a breeze. Took us about 10 minutes to get water. I ordered mahi mahi and the fish was covered in tomatoes.. After removing the tomatoes, a solid pink fish was revealed and i about lost it, sent it back immediately. I wouldn't be surprised if they pre-prepped the plates and just microwaved it to order.. Here's the crazy part.. The server covered our bill out of her personal money!! The manager and owner were in the back lounging and didn't even come to the table. YOU WILL GET SICK IF YOU EAT HERE!! Please do yourselves a favor and steer clear of this place. Most unprofessional atmosphere I've ever been around.
Food was not very good. Pineapple habanero wingers had ansolutely no kick. Tasted like pineapple wings. Pico de Gallo was $4 for a small salsa cup of it, also bland. Jalapeno cheesesticks seemed to contain no jalapeno. You know how black people complain about going to their white friend's house for dinner and everything is bland..... they must have a nice protestant white boy from minnesota cooking in the kitchen. On the us side service was exceptional, waitresses were on point.
