I love coming to eat when everyone is doordashing, lol, plenty of tables open. Burgers are tasty! And unlimited sweet-potato fries, yes please, I mean no, I want dessert! New menus are nice too.Food: 5/5
I felt God in this Red Robin tonight. After a gruelling trip from the East coast with no AC in the car, we stopped at Red Robin, weary of being just South of Gary Indiana. However, to our delightful surprise, we were met with one of the best sit down restaurant experiences we have ever had. The waiter, and the nice young gentleman shadowing him, like God and his angel, brought us drinks immediately and took our order for food at the perfect time. We received our meals in the timeliest manner. So soon, one might assume they had already known we were on the way. Our entire dining experience was phenomenal from start to finish. I highly recommend this Red Robin and the wonderful waiting staff that they employ. This restaurant will be on our safe stop list for years to come. Thank you, and goodnight.
The food is great and service is friendly. Prices are high but, expected given the idiots running the country right now. The housekeeping measures are horrible though. Many tables left messy and the men's room... smells horrible, detritus everywhere, towel dispenser doesn't work. I might go back. At least the bar was clean.
We go here often for a quick burger. We usually sit in the bar but the tender had called off, as well as several servers. We almost left but we stayed. Jonathan and all the staff helping him took great care of us.
We went to Red Robin located by Southlake Mall in Merrillville/Hobart area. We arrived after shopping at approximately 8:50. As we entered, the hostess told us that they were only taking carry out orders. I asked why the sign on the door said they were open till 10 and the girl replied ,"we are but our waitress is going home at 9!" We asked to speak to the manager on duty at that point. When the manager came to speak with us, she told us that the GM had only scheduled the waitress and the her till 9pm and her exact words were, "What can I do about it, nothing!" I've never experienced this from a restaurant or manager in my life. We went over to Chili's and they were very happy to take our business. I called corporate today and was talk after speaking to the guest relations that the district manager, who I asked to speak to originally, will call me within 48 hours. We will see.... So disappointed because we used to love going there to eat.
The food is excellent for a chain establishment. The service is fast without losing its quality. It has accommodated casual business meals for me and my associates. Very good restaurant all around.Food: 4/5
Food was cold. Asked for fries to be replaced but still hard and cold. Daughter said it was worst hamburger she ever had. Had to ask for drinks to be refilled. Server could have cared less! Onion rings were good.Food: 2/5
The restaurant is almost empty. Came in with a party of 8 and was told there would be a 20 min wait. Waited almost an hour before I went to ask about our table. I was told she didn’t know. The restaurant has fewer guest now. We decided to go to another restaurant and after waiting 20 more mins and just as we are walking out the woman who was standing up front staring at us the entire time tells us she can seat us now. I wish I would have gotten her name so I could have dropped it here so she would know exactly who I’m talking to when I say “go to hell”.
