Our Mission
Friends of El Dorado Dog Park is dedicated to bringing a new perspective to the way communities view local dog parks. While our immediate goal is to help the City of Long Beach raise funds to maintain, and improve a 3 acre off-leash dog park in El Dorado Regional Park, we believe the next generation of dog parks should go beyond grass and a fence. El Dorado Dog Park will provide not just off-leash playtime for dogs. It will be a place to encourage responsible pet ownership and to build community awareness of animal welfare & Park and Recreation dog classes offered.
