Welcome to the 15-court, full-service El Dorado Park Tennis Center. El Dorado is consistently recognized one of the best tennis facilities in the Greater Long Beach area. The facility features a pro shop with knowledgable staff, lights for evening play and 15 hard courts that have recently been resurfaced with PLEXIPAVE Pro-Purple latex finish to create a high performance court surface. Due to the quality of our courts, El Dorado Park Tennis Center host several adult and junior SCTA special events and USTA tournaments throughout the year.
The courts at El Dorado are located on Studebaker Road between Spring and Willow Streets in the middle of El Dorado Park and bordered by the El Dorado Park Disc Golf course. The facility is positioned adjacent to the El Dorado Public Library and the New Senior Center.
These outstanding tennis facilities are part of the City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine. They are Public Tennis Centers operated by Cathy Jacobson-Guzy dba First Serve Tennis, Inc. The facilities are open 364-days/year (unless it’s raining). Both facilities feature fully stocked pro shops, computerized ball machines, 24-hour Racquet Stringing Service, our Demo Racquet Program and the very popular Winter, Spring and Summer Junior Tennis Camps for kids of all ages and abilities. Our USPTA certified tennis pros offer private, semi-private and group lessons for all ages and all playing abilities. We provide USTA League, World Team Tennis (WTT), Jr. Team Tennis, Ladies Doubles Leagues, Men’s Leagues, open tournaments, senior tournaments, junior satellites, tennis camps, challenge ladders and so much more. Also, El Dorado is the proud home of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TENNIS ACADEMY Directed by Mitch Bridge, offering High Performance Tennis Training for developing and advanced level junior players of ALL AGES. For any group or organization wishing to hold a group tennis function, they will help you make plans for your corporate tennis event.
