Small terminal great lobby and cafe with tasty menu. First time visit was not disappointed my pilot found me right away and off we went up north to Merced.
Small municipal airport with modern amenities. There's a great place to eat here called Anita's Kitchen with delicious food, large portions and reasonable prices.
Great facility and staff were great. The flight tour agency Sunset Flights on site is great and very communicative about all aspects of the tour reserved. Had one of the best experiences of my life on this flight out of this airport and will for sure do it again. Thank you Sunset Flights
1. Testing, easy and fast with appointment. Nasal swab today... Darn it. But all went smooth. 2. Tested again Wednesday.. small line but don't forget your appointment. Went smoothly.
Please move the restaurant away from the airport and stop the low flying lead fueled planes. The residential area is growing and student flyers and owners of private planes are increasing probably due to the planned closure of Santa Monica Airport. The community could use a park or a walkable commercial area, not private planes and more aviation enthusiasts. I hope more residents will speak up and find more outlets to do so.
We went to the El Monte Airport for lunch today. The restaurant is inside the waiting area of the small plane airport. The restaurant is very clean. Staff is super nice, courteous and helpful. We sat outside to look at the planes and helicopters. The planes were landing and flying out. The food was great. It has breakfast, burgers, and Mexican food. The food is fresh. On the weekends, they have menudo. They are opened from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you want to look at the pretty San Gabriel Mountains, sit outside to enjoy the view and scenery. I would recommend this place.
A jewel of an airport in the heart of the city. Friendly tower and good airport management. Well maintained with plenty of ramp space. Also a decent restaurant.
Very nice little airport! Good practice area for airspace discipline and radio with pattern work. If you work up a hunger, the airport restaurant had good food and an outdoor patio to watch student slam-n-goes.
You çan watch the planes take off on the patio or just enjoy the food inside. Excelent food and I'm there. about every two weeks. My favorite is ABC omelette with sliced tomatoes and an orange juice. I am with a group and they like this restaurant.
A group of us went to breakfast at Annia's Kitchen at the airport yesterday. The service, food and prices were very good! We all had a great time! We'll definitely be back soon!
