El Taoseno Restaurant was opened in 1983 by Arturo and Connie Archuleta in Taos, NM across the street from it's current location. It is still family owned and operated where you will still find the Archuleta family greeting customers!
El Taoseno Restaurant is best known for it's red and green chile. We have won several awards in Chile cook-offs and Best of Taos contests. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. We have lunch specials during the week for great prices and quick but quality service. The menu has a variety of options such as Northern New Mexican Cuisine and traditional American favorites such as steaks, cheeseburgers, and french fries. Enjoy any of this with an ice-cold beer!
