Fast & filling. Hot chocolate or coffee will warm you up. A lot of breakfast options! Ordered Yukon french toast with scrambled eggs & chicken apple sausage. French toast perfect with only a little syrup. Sausage has great flavor and cooked well. Eggs needed salt & pepper, but overall they gave large portion. Got really busy mid/late morning. Parking: Small area to park shared with Days Inn.
Service was amazing our waitress was the sweetest. The food was hot and delicious. Very quick with getting our order to us. Restrooms are very clean and kid friendly.
My daughter and I dined at Elmer’s while visiting OSU. When we got there it was a packed restaurant with people waiting for tables and instantly knew the food would be delicious. We ordered the German pancakes with lindonberry butter and classic eggs Benedict. The food was superb! The service was nothing short of excellent. From the host to the waitress and the manager who is the owner. When we left town my daughter realized she left her air pods pro at the restaurant. When I called the restaurant I spoke to the managerowner and he immediately offered to ship the package directly to us! The package arrived the next day! He didn’t ask for payment for shipping and said he was happy that we dined at his restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that we received such great service which is hard to find nowadays. I give this place 10 stars if there was an option. For the best service and good, you need to eat here!
Quality food, ample portions, attentive service. What more do you want? A TV monitor displaying Keno numbers? Oh, they've got that, too. I ordered the Denver-Tillamook omelette. Fluffy eggs, smoked ham cubes kind of chunky, with chunky red and green peppers and sauteed onions. I chose the hash browns which were a little different - wide strips of potatoes, nicely browned and not too greasy; Heinz catsup. It came with a nice, tall biscuit with a nice, big tub of butter- plenty for my needs. $12.79 for the food. Fair, I thought, in this inflationary age. I ordered a coffee, which was kind of expensive, but had a nice fresh roasty taste and the waitress came by four times to refill my cup; $3.49. I felt it was worth a $4.00 tip.
Very friendly staff, they have the small city vibe, large portions, great food, good prices! I came here for breakfast with my wife and they turned out to be very good! It's similar to a Denny's or any large restaurant chain, but they don't feel big like that. They seem to try hard to make sure you enjoy your time there and the food. I'll be back, that's guaranteed!

Everything was great, service, food etc... until today when I get notification of Elmer's charging my account multiple times for the same meal. paid with debit The food was good but not hundreds of dollars good. not a happy customer. Update: Went in when they opened, told there was nobody that could do anything except maybe the manager when he is in, no answer as to when he would be in, just call and check if he is there then drop what I am doing to go there. For the record this is the 3rd time this exact thing has happened to me at the Corvallis location, makes me wonder how many people don't catch double charges from them........... Update: The manager finally talked with me and said he would refund the extra charges. How ever I get a new notice of duplicate charges. He did refund me one of the charges AFTER he charged my account AGAIN.
I’ve gone to this establishment a few times. Each time I get a certain waitress don’t know her name but she’s extremely rude and disrespectful! This morning 9/30/22 0700 was the worst! It was so bad I refused to order anything. I visited two of my friends while they ate. In fact , one of my friends apologized for her behavior. I told him that was not necessary. She’s responsible for her behavior no one else. I will NEVER go to another Elmers in Corvallis, Oregon again. I will also encourage anyone I know to not give them their business.
We did not have a great experience, largely due to our waitstaff and the smell coming from the bathroom in the entryway. Our waitress seemed annoyed with our party of 4, after forgetting to bring a decaf coffee, when I asked about it, she brought out regular in a huff, I said I’d have that, since she brighten it, and could she bring the decaf my father asked for. She brought him cold coffee, and never asked if we wanted refills, food was mediocre and we weren’t checked on until more than half through to see if it was ok. While I understand these are small things, it left a horrible taste in our mouths.
They serve good food but somehow the quality of the food gets less than what it used to be. The menu changed. The famous pancake is the order that has not changed and it is worth to try.
