My partner had the Steak salad and it was good. I had the most flavourless Reuben of my life. The mustard sour cream really muted the flavours. I found the corned beef dry and flavourless and couldn’t even taste the sauerkraut. If I hadn’t had the delicious fries I would have thought that I had Covid and lost my sense of taste.
We came in for my fiancées birthday dinner tonight. I had made reservations online a week prior and had told them about her birthday and requested any kind of surprise chocolate dessert, if they could. THEY 110% BROUGHT THE FIRE!! It couldn't have gone any better. The host and our server both wished her a Happy Birthday as soon as we walked in, the menu was awesome and the food was really amazing. We'll DEFINITELY be back and will be recommending to others! A special mention to our server Jack who was so great. The guy was phenomenal and brought our whole evening together. Such a genuine person. Jack, if you read this, thank you and great job man!
I had heard some great things about this spot, and it did not disappoint. My better half and I came in on date night. We enjoyed the delicious pickle dip appetizer and their house drinks were spot on as well. We ended up deciding on the Bison strip, which was arguably the best steak I've ever tasted, and the Poke Bowl. SO MUCH FLAVOR!! That steak has left me salivating days later. The service was also friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
Best appetizers in town. Always doing fun cocktails & new drinks. Exciting menu ! Gorgeous downtown patio! Most importantly this is a family friendly restaurant. The kids menu has lots of options. Definitely a place to check outFood: 5/5
The food here is fantastic! The menu has many unique options, many of which are locally sourced. I highly recommend trying their artichoke dip. Will definitely be stopping here again.
My family went to Ely’s Ivy yesterday for the first time. We were visiting Grand Forks and found the restaurant online. We were blown away with the service and quality; the server, Grace, was wonderful and we all loved our meals! Everything was so fresh and flavorful, the menu has unique offerings, and the establishment is beautiful. There are many quaint details in the decor and the ambiance is great. We will definitely return and are glad we found this gem of a restaurant; it’s up there as top tier of Grand Forks! In a town full of sports bars and college haunts, this is a place that soars far above the burgers and chicken wings realm. Side note: They have good merch for sale, including an embroidered hat for $10!
The atmosphere was beautiful and inviting! We started with the pickle dip as an appetizer and it was amazing! Packed with flavor and included fresh veg! They also have a full bar and made a killer lemon drop martini! We got the Reuben with pommes paillasson for the side! There was Irish music playing and cultural dishes to match! Portions were large, prices were great, and Staff was friendly! We will certainly be returning when in Grand Forks!
Excellent staff. Great service. And I really enjoyed the food. The wings were phenomenal. With a smooth atmosphere and wonderful vibe Ely's Ivy is a great place to go in downtown Grand Forks. They also do an excellent job at large events with their outdoor space. Would definitely recommend.
The walleye fish was cooked perfectly and very delicious. Love the unusual choices including an cajun alligator dish and a ground camel burger. Service was friendly but not very attentive. Had to request water refills, ask for plates in order to eat the hot appetizers already served, and ask for the waitress to clear away used appetizer plates. Would’ve been nice to have a candle or even a flower on the table for the price of the dinners. Restrooms were clean. Not very generous servings which could’ve been easy to include a larger portion of rice. Was not impressed with the fried appetizers. Location nice and appreciated being able to sit outside
Love the atmosphere. Staff was very good and helpful! Full bar with a good selection of spirits. I'd like to see more beers on the menu! The food was great. We tried the Pickle Dip for an app, the Kentucky Fried Rabbit and the Camel Burger for entree's, and the mini chocolate cake for desert. We will definitely be back!
