Great spot! I’ve stopped here many times while working in the East Grand Forks area and have always had a great experience with good food. The staff are great and work hard to make sure you have your drinks and food in a timely manner. At this visit I had the Ahi Tuna with broccoli & Jasmine rice as sides. The tuna was perfectly seared and tasted great. All of the salads are great here as well as the soups.
The service we received at Blue Moose was the best we got during our whole weekend we spent in Grand Forks. The sandwiches we had for lunch were delicious, and the soup was good too. Given the choice, always choose the seasoned fries. Decore is outdoorsy but tasteful. Staff were friendly. Everything was clean. And I love that they leave a pot of coffee at your table. If we are ever back in Grand Forks, we will be stopping here again.
Food was really good and our server Kayla B wad fantastic. Been awhile since I've been and glad I stopped in. People need to remember to use their indoor voices and think of everyone else trying to enjoy their selves. One table was extremely loud and it wasn't called for. UPDATE - Sept 18th, the Oktoberfest menu is back. A fantastic take on a gyros with The Diner wrap, packed the flavor and great frittes. Must try the new addition of the Bruno's Beer Boat, the German potato salad was spot on, and the wurst with the saurkraut beer gravy is insanely tasty. Got to get it the Oktoberfest menu while it last.
Overall good experience. Food is somewhat under seasoned and over priced but decent. Nice and speedy service. Interesting environment. I had the walleye and onion soup. I did get a couple of bones....Food: 3/5
Great family-friendly restaurant. Love the decor - keeps the kids entertained as we like to play I spy The food is always fresh and delicious. Had the Mahi taco this time. I loved it!Food: 5/5
Holy taxidermy! Lots of animals on the walls and around this place... If you're into that. Im not a local but it seems like a place for the college crowd yet also family friendly? Lol. Service was fair. Our waitress was great. Food was alright. Decent prices. I ordered bbq boneless wings and I must say I have never tasted a "bbq" sauce like this. Very different, not bad but not what I was hoping for. Then, I was intrigued when she said there was a key lime cheesecake... But it was just regular cheesecake with a green "key lime" drizzle.
Madison was a super waitress! We teased her about all her pens. She was friendly, prompt, and super sweet. Desserts yummy. Excellent menu. It's a little too dim for me, but I'm a senior citizen. Vegetarian options: Would have been easy to eat vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: No adult shenanigans. Didn't hear any cussing.
Wow, such a great place with a great vibe. We shared a meal and it came on two seperate plates. Which was much appreciated. Black and Bleu balls were delicious and our favourite dish. Everything was delicious and would highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Sat at the bar. Friendly, attentive service from Dan and Dani. Love the interesting cocktails. Hubbie appreciated the Hoppy Hour 3-6pm. Burgers 2 for 1 on Monday - any burger were prepared just as we like. And you can see dessert. Glad they had a half sized version.Food: 5/5
This place is surprisingly large. We walked in with a party of 13 with no reservation at around 12:30. The hostess didn't even flinch and was able to seat us immediately. There is a very wide variety of menu options. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. There is also the added treat of enjoying the view of the Red River and Sorlie Bridge while you eat.
