Well maintained Embassy Suites Hilton. Rooms are clean and beds sleep well. Manager reception was nice. Friendly bartender and all the staff was very attentive. Breakfast buffet was great. Busy hotel, but everything running smoothly. Good job to all ! Rooms: Plenty of room and clean throughout. Wet bar, refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Nearby activities: Close to stadium and highway to downtown Walkability: Restaurant nearby Food & drinks: Bar on site and canteen area. Fountain drinks available in breakfast area. Noteworthy details: Free parking
Living room furniture was old/outdated for the price I paid. Had ants in the bed and room. They did come change linens and spray but we still had bites in the morning. The entire facility must be inundated with ants because they were on our car in the parking lot when we left. Definitely not worth the price I paid. Will never stay there again and never in hotels again period, if I can help it
Our hotel room was so disgusting. If you are a clean person and appreciate nice things. Don’t book a room here you will regret it quickly. Went to check in and they said the room wasn’t ready. After 30 minutes it was “ready”. When we walked onto our floor it was trash overflowing in the hallway, trash all on the floor/carpet. Went into the room it has a smell and looked dingy, the couch and chair had stains all over it, the fridge and microwave had old food splashes in them. There was no shower rod or shower curtain, toilet has pee stains on the seat, the BEDS were made sloppy and didn’t have a mattress covers on them. I went down to the front desk to ask for a new room and show the supervisor the pictures I took. She gave me a new room and it was a little better, appliances were still dirty, and the hallway carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. Just poor care of this hotel. Don’t let the pictures fool you. The hotel entrance is the only nice thing about this place. Never again.
If you are an African American please be careful when you stay here. The travel advisory the NAACP issued was 100% correct. I believe this staff is prejudiced and racist. They are disrespectful toward me and I believe its because we are black. We stayed in the top floor and had a balcony. The room was very nice and the balcony was a very nice size. I was very happy with the free parking and delicious breakfast. However, when I went to the front desk and spoke with Paige, I may have smelled like smoke from a party when I asked for some extra towels the night before. I was charged a smoking fee when we left the hotel the next morning. The worst part was we never smoked in the room. They accused me of leaving the room smelling like smoke. This was a complete lie because we had breakfast and brought it upstairs. The room smelled like breakfast when we left almost 12 hours after I left the front desk. When I called the hotel to ask why we got this fee, the manager was rude and disrespectful. I would have returned to the hotel, but I was already 3 hours away. My boyfriend and I are on a road trip from Los Angeles to New York and have stayed at a Hilton Hotel the entire time. I tell you that we did not have any problems in Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Maryland, New York, and North Carolina. This was the only place I felt disrespected. Since this experience, we have chosen to stay at the Marriott Hotels until this issue is resolved. I am also considering closing my account with Hilton because of this issue.
Overall a very good experience. We've stayed twice and enjoyed both stays. My only criticism is the cleaning staff does not seem to be in sync with the front desk. They cleaned the room when we asked them not to and didn't bring us towels or toilet paper. And they could use a friendlier staff at the bar.Rooms: 4/5
It seemed as if the two employees at the front desk took one look at me and decided to play the “idle busy game” - pretending to be busy and waiting to see who would give up first. It seemed as if the two employees at the front desk took one look at me and decided to give me the worst room in the hotel - Room 716. The room was stuffy with a faint moldy smell. The two room suite had a dull and unused look. The phones had layers of muck and dirt. Under the sink was grimy. The AC only blasted cold air in the front sitting room while the bedroom was muggy and hot. There was a coffee machine but no coffee supplies. I called the front desk to ask for some. I was told I would have to go down to the restaurant to pick up what I needed. The evening reception consisted of nachos and 2 drinks. A list of drink options was provided. Dinner at the restaurant was mediocre, and so was the service. Breakfast was good . The service at breakfast was also good. My stay was just a quick overnight on my way to Georgia. I did voice my dissatisfaction - I was totally ignored. I did not pursue the issue. This was the most horrible hotel experience ever. This is my response in regards to your response posted on 7/31/3023. After I wrote my review, I read previous reviews.  I noticed some of my complaints were echoed by previous guests.  So it’s seems absurd for you to respond in this manner.  It shows you are not willing to address legitimate concerns expressed by your guests.  It seems as if the whole front desk staff could benefit from diversity/customer relations/sensitivity training. 8/4/23 Thank you for taking the time to address my issues. Malia was an amazing hostess and kicked our stay off with such a positive and energetic attitude. A true example of what hospitality should be and an amazing example for the Hilton brand. I watched her interactions with other guests from afar as well, and man, she doesn't miss a beat. She can flow with any personality or issue presented to her. As a diamond member for several years, I was happy to do business with her. I didn't get the bartenders name tonight 5/27, but she was just as amazing. Great personality and amazing interaction with customers as the only tender. Great job! Joe or John, our server was just as equally amazing. Not sure where you drummed up such great staff, but dang it's been a while since I've interacted with a grand slam staff at a Hilton branded hotel. The rooms were cozy and typical for an Embassy Suites. Roomy, clean, and easily accessible. Extra towels and blankets came up in less than 5 minute. Whoever is running this location has got it going on. Keep it up, you give the brand a great look! Cheers! Rooms: Accessibility, cleanliness, and service Nearby activities: Central to many attractions and dining options Safety: Well lit parking lot, attentive staff. Food & drinks: Reasonable prices and amazing variety. Marketplace was well stocked.
This hotel was nice for my Family Reunion for Tanner Young Yarbrough 101st. The rooms need some upgrades and deep cleaning. The shower head in room 425 needed attention from limescale. There were other issues my family discussed. The location for adventures in Florida was great. I had a great time.Rooms: 3/5
