Excellent staff who went above and beyond to help our 10 year old daughter feel special on her birthday during our stay! She was so surprised to find chocolate cake delivered to our room for her and her 3 siblings as a surprise birthday treat! It was sincerely appreciated! The managers cocktail hour was excellent and the friendly bar staff worked efficiently to serve all the guests during a busy evening. They also had our car ready to go at 5:30am even before valet hours opened in the morning at 6:00am so we could make our way to the airport on time. Thank you for an excellent hotel stay.
This hotel offers a wonderful, complimentary evening reception with happy hour and snacks. They also offer a wonderful complimentary breakfast in the morning with lots of options. I also appreciate the digital door key using your phone through the Hilton Honors app. It made the check-in process so easy and also getting into the room when I didn't have to fumble for the key. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is also in great proximity to Old Sac and the airport. Would stay here again!
This Embassy Suites was a pretty good experience. The front desk staff did not greet me and they looked at me like I was the janitor or someone that did handy work. They also gave me the impression that I couldn’t afford the room when they said all rooms have to be paid for with a credit card and official state drivers license. They were so surprised to see that I had both items and they were valid. But after that incident the room was very nice/ clean. The manager’s reception was amazing. The morning breakfast was cooked so great. The valet staff could use some new training on answering the phones for guests. But overall this was a great place to stay and the amenities were amazing. The night manager was very nice and professional and the culinary and janitorial staff were all very nice and professional. The front desk staff and valet staff need to be trained on how to answer the phones and how to treat guests when they arrive at their establishment.
Very nice hotel! The parking situation is a little strange, there is valet but if that’s full you need to pay at the parking garage across the street. Hotel was very relaxing and comfortable bed, pillows. especially enjoyed complimentary showtime movies/shows via the app on the TV & I love the personalized welcome message when you enter the room.the location is very convenient to see the capital and other downtown activities.
Love everything about this hotel. Front desk staff are fantastic. I was recognized as a diamond member which is a nice feeling since I'm loyal to Hilton. The check in was quick and easy. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Great breakfast and Happy hour too. I always look forward to staying here.Rooms: 5/5
It is difficult to describe excellence in a few short sentences but here goes: Location: just a few short blocks and easy walk to downtown, and very close to the river front trails and old town. Rooms: the rooms are very well appointed with high quality amenities. They main lobby is incredible with a beautiful atrium and places to sit and dig the amazing vibe. Staff: All of the staff here was incredible. We brought our small dog and staff were very accommodating with our little pup and we very much appreciate that touch. They never once questioned anything about our dog. Of course we are responsible pet owners and made sure she could use the bathroom outside. Food: Incredible coffee and a breakfast that will leave you satisfied and fulfilled. It was truly scrumptious. Thank you Embassy Suites for an amazing stay. We will be back!
Rooms smell horrible! So bad I couldn't sleep which defeats the purpose of a hotel. Other than that... Staff was nice and friendly. Amazing breakfast like all Embassy Suites. Great facilities. Great location. Over all the place is nice however the rooms everyone room in our group had a horrible smell. This will prevent me from going back to this particular Embassy Suites in the future.
Rooms are super nice. Staff is friendly. Just make sure it get your soda from the vending machine and not the little store. Hotel charges 4 bucks and the vending machine is only 2.50. Wish we would have known that before buying 3 sodas from the hotel shop. Lol. Otherwise it's super nice and the location was perfect for our needs. Food was good too!
Great hotel and very helpful staff. The manager was great and attentive. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The location is perfect and right on the river. The only reason that I'm not giving the hotel 5 stars is because there is only valet parking or public parking across the street. Other than that, or was an amazing stay.Rooms: 5/5
Amazing hotel, fantastic stay! The location is perfect, right alongside the Sacramento River and across the street from Old Sac, and walking distance of anything you might want to do. If your stay does require you driving, no worries, because the Valet is with in-and-out privileges. The staff have perfected hospitality, absolutely every single staff member was kind and went above and beyond. 10/10 Absolutely will stay again.
