I really enjoyed my stay here, all my co workers stayed here for a work meeting. The happy hour meetup every night was a blast, the staff are amazing and so nice it was an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was enjoyable the food was good at night as well. The only bad part of my stay was the mattress if your a side sleeper and have no padding on your hips you will leave here with bruised hips. I loved the room having a separate living room from the bedroom for friends to come and talk was a blessing I don’t like people in my bed. So over all this is a great place if you don’t mind a hard no padding mattress. Even though I’m in pain I would stay here again that’s how much I enjoyed everything else during my stay. Nearby activities: Enjoyed walking across the street to walk old Sacramento and grab food and drinks with co workers. Great shops I love stage nine! Food & drinks: The food at the bar was great for bar food, loved the tator nachos! The happy hour summer margarita they had one night was by far my favorite drink!
The room was lovely but the bathroom had not been cleaned. The shower had a wad of dark hair on the wall. We called to let the desk know, perhaps move us to another room, and they comped our $50 room service and hung up. In the morning when checking out, I explained the problem in the room and that we were unable to shower because the bathroom was not cleaned or sanitized. The person checking us out, wearing a mask for his safely, tells me not to make my problem, his problem. He was sitting behind the Hilton desk, collecting a paycheck, right? On the flip side, the chicken we ordered and the gin and tonics were awesome. Eat there, but don’t stay. Really really atrocious service and no one cares. Nearby activities: Right near Old Sac. Only downside is getting parking. But the hotel is beautiful, staffs friendly and food is wonderful. Who can beat an amazing free breakfast! Especially these days. The pool was nice inside but the chlorine smell was way to strong I couldn't stand it so kids only got a half hour of swimming in before I tapped out.Rooms: 5/5
We were only able to stay one night, but we had an amazing stay! The rooms were really comfortable and the pool was nice. The location is great and extremely close to Old Sacramento. But by far the best part was the complementary breakfast! They had so many options and had chefs to make omelettes however you like. Really enjoyed our stay! I’ve stayed here a couple times and really enjoy it. The complimentary happy hour with snacks is awesome. Great bartenders and it’s a pretty comfortable stay. I like how there’s a comfortable living area that is separate from the bedroom. Only downside was the sink didn’t work at all, and two shampoos instead of a shampoo and conditioner. Great view and very safe feeling for sure. Serci is a great and KIND bartender, really liked her customer service!
Overall, the rooms and the facility were really nice and spacious. I was impressed by how much space there was in the suite. However, I spoke with many people there as I was at a conference, and the rooms had an odd smell to them kind of like fish. It was strange that we all had the same kind of smells going on in our rooms. Also near the elevator, it smelled horribly like cigarette smoke. The AC didn't work great either. But other than that the room was great. I still give it a four stars because it was just fine for me besides what I mentioned. It's proximity to the riverfront is very nice too. However, there are a lot of homeless individuals around the riverfront so probably best to walk in groups. Rooms: Very spacious rooms. TV in the living area and the bedroom. Kitchen included a sink and a microwave and a mini fridge. Walkability: Easy walk restaurants and the golden one arena. Also some shopping around there Food & drinks: The food and drinks are good, free pretty good breakfast and nice bar
My family of four stayed here over and I must say it was a fantastic location, there was great service and all the hotel employees were overwhelmingly kind. Serge at the front desk was very helpful when an issue came up at the pool, and Katie who made my coffee each morning was so accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the complimentary happy hour was a highlight each night. We are for sure heading back there whenever we are in town. Thank you!
Always a great experience at Embassy Suites! Great room. Great service. Great location - old town Sac shops a walk away visit Candy Heaven!. Enjoyed the reception and free breakfast. Decorated nicely for Christmas. Highly recommend! Rooms: Very clean! Great spot downtown. Fun happy hour! Food was great at the cafe and the employees there were so accommodating and very friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfy beds. It can get a little loud with guests at the bar/atrium.Rooms: 5/5
