The AMC Empire 25 is a 25-screen movie theater located in the heart of Times Square in New York City. It is one of the most popular theaters in the city, and is known for its large screens, comfortable seats, and state-of-the-art sound system. The theater has a variety of showtimes to choose from, and offers a variety of ticket prices. There are also discounts available for students, seniors, and members of the military. The AMC Empire 25 is a great place to see a movie, especially if you are looking for a big-screen experience. The theater is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. AMC Empire 25 is a great place to see a movie. It has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. If you are looking for an even more luxurious movie-going experience, you can consider getting an AMC A-List membership. This membership gives you unlimited access to movies at any AMC theater, including the AMC Empire 25. It also includes discounts on food and drinks, and early access to tickets. The AMC A-List membership costs $25 per month, but it can save you money if you go to the movies regularly. If you are a frequent moviegoer, I would definitely recommend getting an AMC A-List membership.
I love the theater, but they need to work on some of the electrical stairs that didn’t work on that they. Every thing was clean and nice, but at the end of the movie the maintenance crew made us walk back from the 6th floor to take the stairs because they were cleaning the carpet, I understand it but they need to ask if the person have some physical needs. My children are chronic Asthma and taking down so many stairs with two autistic kids it’s not fun at all, I was very scared and concerned, and for that reason am giving the 3 stars but I did love the theater.
One of the best and well preserved movie theaters! It features nice architecture that has made this a landmark for AMC. A neat spot to catch any of the latest movie releases! The movie theater experience here is simply amazing and spacious! Food is good too for a quick bite! Some sections have recliner chairs which is a nice addition. Get your popcorn ready and checkout this theater!
Blue beetle ! One of the best action movies I’ve seen so far this year ! Buy your tickets in advance to avoid a long wait in line for a ticket . Comfort seating along with a variety of food and snacks . Even the sounding was so much better than any theater I have been to . Perfect
A bigger NY movie theatre near the busy Times Square with kind staff and comfortable seats. They have 25 screens with a good number of restaurants nearby and are conveniently located between two subway stations. At first glance, this AMC is pretty and huge. The outside lights shine through the windows and you see the busy crowds outside. However, the theatre was not crowded, very clean and worth the cinema experience. There are self-service ticket kiosks at the entrance/main lobby. There is usually a staff member available to monitor and provide assistance. The machines take credit cards tourist-friendly or you can order your ticket on the website. The kiosk interface was user-friendly and easy to navigate. Great experience and vibe; we had a great time enjoying the movie, Everything Everywhere All At Once. Do note, give yourself some time as there are various floors and limited narrow escalators to get to your screening.
I am a regular here at AMC Empire 25 Theater for several years and I have had the most bizarre movie experience tonight. I paid $17.99 to see the Pope's Exoricist at 1120pm, on the last floor. I noticed the lights were on during the trailers, I thought to myself maybe it will turn off when the movie starts. The movie begins and I'm watching the first 3 mins and the lights still have not gone off. I leave the room to look for a staff member and there was absolutely no one in sight, not even security or cleaning staff. I seriously felt like many staff members were acting like they were off the clock since they were nowhere to be found. I go to the floor below and samething again, it feels like no one was available. After 10 mins of missing the movie I finally come across a lady who works in AMC and she radios someone to come to turn off the light, which took another 8-10 mins. So in total I missed about 30 mins of the film. After the film I finally find staff members in the main floor and ask to speak to a manager, he they radio for Marquise the manager, who didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and had a attitude because I called for him to ask for an explanation on why that happened. Then I asked for a refund and he got loud with his voice and said there is not nothing he can do because no one in his staff radioed him prior to when the issue occurred. I insisted to tell him your staff member who works the elevator knew and eventually called for help and I missed about 20 percent of the movie. I don't understand how Marquise the manager is angry at the customer for making the complaint when he wasn't doing his job and not having any staff members in the top floors. This is very upsetting because I come to this theater a lot and never had an issue until today and management treated me very terrible with no compensation.
Their IMAX is great but I prefer the larger leg space and better seating arrangement of the fresh meadow AMC IMAX. Since it's in times square this theater can get excessively crowded. The washrooms are also extremely busy after shows. Expect a slow food service. I would suggest not to eat anything there and just have a meal outside for better value. The sound quality and picture quality are very satisfactory.
I visit this AMC 25 theater more often than any other theater in city-- usually for IMAX or Dolby Prime formats. Amost always order my ticket online, so my wait times are minimized. Usually go right up escalator, and with my A-list subscription, go straight to priority line at concessions, which almost always is a short line, and them onto movie theater.
Great time seeing Avatar the director was there with also some of the cast members they're kind of old actually but it looks like their staying in shape allegedly with stem cell operations and Botox so it was a fantastic experience seeing the rich and especially the director the guy is tall like 6'3. Please everyone come see the movie I think you have a fantastic experience like. The seats are comfortable people are there enthusiastic and it just feels like the spirit of humanity. I must add that regal does not provide this access to famous people allegedly this director is worth around 700 million. And this is how long it might take for you to see someone pass by in regal that is famous. And never never happens in regal you don't see the Rich and famous you don't see directors coming in it never happens. So as much as regal is emphasizing quality. AMC is the one that comes through for the public for the community to mingle with those stars that they admire so much and see the humanity and what they do. Thank you AMC for bringing us closer to those that continue to inspire.
Terrible experience. Paid premium price for two hikes and a half marathon. All the escalators don’t work. The elevators are ancient. As slow as a slug. Staff and managers are high school students with half an edible in between there teeth. Does not compromise to refill the large popcorn w my membership. Place is dirty and sticky. Someone’s 3rd birthday dirty playground could have been a better theater. Never have I even ever experience such dysfunctional and old fashion theater. I have had much better experiences all across Asia and China. You are far too much behind
