Great park! Lots of fields, a skate park picnic benches and a great play structure. There are also mediocre bathrooms. Overall fantastic park.
Wonderful park for kids ages 1 and up. There is a lot of cool climbing equipment and it is nice that this playground is sand/woodchip free. It is also under a massive shade tent so it's the best park for hot summer days or during the middle of the day at its hottest. There is a beautiful dog park, skate park, soccer fields and plenty of lovely walking trails. Perfect for scootering and biking with little ones. Always has friendly dogs and the older kids are usually gentle playing around the little ones. We love it here!
This park is beautiful for kids, families and dogs! It’s clean, there are bathrooms and even drinking fountains for the dogs in the dog park section! Plenty of parking and nice people! Highly recommend!
This park is huge and absolutely beautiful! There is lots of parking in different areas of the park, near every section, because it's so big. There are nice, big, paved sidewalks all through the park, beautiful green grass that is well cared-for, a skatepark, huge playgrounds and more! This park is great for anyone of any age. There's also tons of large grass areas if you want to have a picnic or play soccer, football, or anything else. The park is also right nearby a grocery store and tons of other places. I definitely recommend!
We’ve driven past this park so many times seeing the large flower shade over the playground from the freeway. I love that they added this shade covering because on a warm day, the playgrounds would quickly get very hot without them. The ropes course structures were a huge hit with the older kids at the park but my son is still too little to maneuver around them so we spend most of our time on the swings and slides. My son was inspired after watching the people at the skate park and turned into a little skater himself and had fun wiggling around on the little skateboard bouncer at the playground. I visit Encinitas once a year, and I always go to this wonderful community park. I walk here and exercise my dog, but there are many other activities: baseball diamonds, a skate park, a kids area, and a dog play space. Each separate area has the best design, equipment, and landscape - for you and for the family.
This is a very popular skate park and i can see why! It’s super big first off and second you can spend at least 3 hours here and not get board, it was pretty busy today tuesday but it wasn’t as bad as the other ones around. This skate park is more so for people who already know the basics of skating rather than a beginner. If your board and in the area stop by!
It's a big nice park. It has bathrooms, grass, dog area , playground and skatepark. Only down side is parking is kinda limited and it can get pretty crowded. Update still good place to take the kids.
Amazing park, probably the best I've found in the San Diego area. Dog-friendliness: There's plenty of space for training, playing, and a dog specific area.
