A very old park. Ancient 30 amp circuit breaker panel was tripping often. Mosquito heaven. Narrow heavily wooded sites. The rain turned it into a mud hole.Rooms: 3/5

Love this place!!! Don’t mind the rain when you’re in such a beautiful place.Rooms: 5/5
My husband and I spent July 3 to 10th at the campground. We were visiting from Ontario and loved the area and the campground. The sits are large and treed - the washrooms always clean and the staff amazing. We were even treated to live music Sat evening. Highly recommend this campground !!
One of the last good campgrounds left in New Brunswick. Lots are all wooded with good privacy between. Staff are friendly and accommodating, and mostly leave the campers be. They are quick to address concerns and even helped us out with questions we had about our camper, as this was the first year we have owned it. Even though the bathrooms are dated, they are cleaned daily and the Owners have even been spotted doing the cleaning. I would recommend this campground to anyone who is looking for a private, wooded getaway!
Despite how the camp looks on the map, it doesn't have access to the water. You can get to the river down the road from the camp which is a small pebbly beach. On the other side, across the road, is a bible camp which does not allow you to access the river on the other side. We were going to walk down the road beside it but were warned there was a family of bears. The campsites are treed but not really private and our site had bits of litter all over it as it hadn't been cleaned since the last campers. The bathrooms are not updated or very clean and the showers were so unappealing we did not use them. One was dark and the light in it seemed to have been burned out for sometime. There is a restaurant there but it was closed with no hours posted. The only wifi in the park was right next to it.
This is my happy place and I plan have planned my vacation to spend time here 2018, 2019, 2020, and will be doing the same for 2021. I would give it a 10 out of 5 stars if I could. The staff have always been so more than kind and gone out of there way even when not required. My mom and dad are seasonal here as well as many other family members and love the fact that when they are not able to be there that sometimes I can get to go and spend time and that someone is actually there when they can't be. Went here as a child as well when owned by different people and still so many great memories. Had my best friend and her children down last year a few times and just her and I once as well and they all absolutely loved it and will be back again this year and looking forward to Christmas in July once again. This is nothing like actual Christmas as at that time if the year there is so much stress and last minute shopping. Christmas in July here is everyone having fun and decorating and having fun and visiting all the sites No stress included. This year will be very different without John and his friendly stop by and chats. I know some people have made statements about bugs and bears. Ummm yup we are in nature and they were here long before us. Enjoy it all God bless
We didn’t book ahead and they managed to find us a spot to pitch our tent, then brought out a picnic table for us later on. Nice staff and friendly. They charge per tent, so we ended up paying an extra 20 for a second tent which ran the price up to one of the highest prices we’ve paid in Atlantic Canada. The facilities are a bit of a walk depending on where you are camped, so plan around that. They are clean.
My favourite New Brunswick campground. The ancient trees, the beautiful shore, clean bathrooms and sites!! We absolutely love it here- and the staff are all so sweet. Large cook shelters with water and a wood stove!!! AWESOME!! Don’t forget all the different mushrooms growing all through the woods- fresh chanterelles for breakfast?! Yes please!!! Also- check out the old graveyard and church along the shore- super cool!! Maritime hospitality at its finest! Thank you, Tracey and staff
