They frequently park their personal vehicles on the sidewalk, sometimes blocking it completely see photo taken on Memorial Day in the middle of the afternoon. Why park like that? You're making it unnecessarily difficult and dangerous for people on wheelchairs, strollers or even grocery bags to walk by. There is plenty of free parking right around the corner, literally 20 steps away, please be mindful of your neighbors.

I work as a paramedic for a private ambulance company in Florida. We just did a transport from Florida to Illinois and decided on our way back we had to stop and get some pizza!!! The guys at this station were so friendly and helpful. They pointed us in the right direction for some Chicago pizza and where to go to find a hotel that would have parking for an ambulance. Great group of guys!
While I respect everything firefighters do to help the community, this particular station has the bad habit of revving their chainsaws at full blast on the sidewalk very early in the morning, around 7 am. Sometimes, multiple chainsaws at the same time, at full blast. Imagine a gang of dirt bikers revving their engines in front of your house, that's exactly what it sounds like. Today they did that at 6:45 AM - on a Sunday. I understand it's likely a routine equipment maintenance task, but 1 please do it after 8 am, and 2 why can't you do it inside your garage with the doors closed, just do it near the same exhaust tubes you use for the fire trucks exhaust pipe. Or do it with the door closed and then open the gates to ventilate when you're done. Please be more cognizant and consider the hundreds of people who didnt plan on waking up before 7 am. We will appreciate it!
