Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Childhood

There is a night and day difference between the morning and night shift. In the morning I felt like family and in the evening I felt forgotten. Charmaine Hutchinson took care of me like I was her own son and went the extra mile every chance she got, love that woman. I’ve had multiple procedures here and same day surgery.

Honestly, I give this hospital a low score for handling an emergency. I went due to an infection of my son and I have been waiting for more than 3 hours to be seen, they saw him throwing up and they only said that regret I have not received attention and one nurse in particular just raised her head When I asked why it took so long, I think that more human personnel and more empathy with the children are needed to see this type of situation in the United States is sad

This is a wonderful hospital. Just had a baby this week at this hospital and my experience was beyond amazing from beginning to end. Everyone I encountered was kind, attentive, and professional. Kristen and Lauren from the labor delivery unit are the kindest nurses I have ever met. Dr. Pichardo and Dr. Miller are life savers, in every sense of the word. I will forever be grateful to have delivered my second child at this hospital and for the kindness I received. I hope everyone in the labor and delivery unit enjoys the cookies and strawberries. It's just a small token of my appreciation.

I came yesterday with my husband, and we received the best services. Doctor Wong was amazing; quick diagnostic. Doctor Marco and his team were very professional and super fast. The nurse was fantastic. We arrived at 9 am and finished at 12:42 pm, and the doctors didn’t loose time. Very professional, super clean, and very friendly. We are so happy, thanks !

Very accommodating and intelligent staff. My grandmother stayed in 8 Dean for about a week. The nurses were very kind and took extra care for each of my grandmother's needs. They made her stay comfortable and made us, the family very comfortable leaving each day. A special shout-out to the vascular team as well =

NOPE!!!!!!!! My dad is currently there after a stroke paralyzed! I’m about to have Him transferred and call Medicare patient advocate and on call to make a complaint. The amount of mistakes and disrespect that they have shown in the past few days is beyond acceptable. Not only to my father but to me. The nurses, charge nurses, resident nurses. They yell at the patient and at family members leave the patients for 40 min to an hour no help walk out and laugh. Suction machine broken and they didn’t give a new one till I went there in person 2 hrs later. Clogged feeding tube for almost 2 days and they state they didn’t have the equipment to replace right away so my father couldn’t get food through it for 2 days. The nurses lie and they are rude if you voice your concern. A respiratory nurse came in to give my father a breathing treatment before the 6 hours and I said to her it’s only been 3 hours he gets it every 6 she’s like oh I have to go check and never comes back. Nurse brings him pudding and then takes it away and tells him he can’t eat so I call up and ask them to explain to him or me why and they charge nurse yelled at him and me. Screams at me on the speaker phone and walks out of his room. UNACCEPTABLE TREATMENT. Some doctors tell you they will call for updates and don’t some do. Some are ok. Before having him on life support which in ICU WAS THE ONLY DEPT THAT WAS GREAT last week respiratory nurses and doctors arguing over my fathers treatment. Now he has an infection in the blood. Some care but what i have experienced since he’s been in a room has been horrible! I still haven’t gotten a social worker he’s been in there a week! I will be calling supervisors, Medicare, Medicaid and On call, health dept, city departments. I work as a 1st responder this is not ACCEPTABLE! These are humans not numbers

I just had my scheduled c section last week! My husband and I have the best opinion about this hospital. We are really appreciate with all the group, doctors Brescia and Migliaccio, nurses, pediatrician, and the rest of the staff that took care of us and our baby during 3 days. We felt that we have being treated like family. Thank you thank you to all of you.

Wonderful! All of my family have been treated here and they are so professional. The atmosphere is lovely, everything is up-to-date, all of the latest technology. The shop and restaurant are very nice as well. My favourite hospital in all of New Jersey

I gave birth to my son at this Hospital and it was a wonderful experience as a first time mom. The Labor and Delivery nurses were very sweet and attentive. The Lactation Consultant was also very knowledgeable. I highly recommend for a delivery!

One of the worst customer service experiences in my life. After scheduling a CT scan yesterday for today at 1 PM, I was not called in until 2:15 PM. Then I was denied the CT scan because they didn’t have blood work for me. When I scheduled, I was never told about the blood work & that it had to be within 30 days. Then a supervisor in radiology told me they would contact my Dr. for the paperwork to save a trip for me and THEN have the schedulers call me to do both the blood work & CT scan the same morning. The schedulers called me promptly, but had no clue about the blood work. They told me to contact my Dr. to get the paperwork. 2 hours plus of my day wasted. I will be going somewhere else. Avoid this facility like the plague.
