My experience with Enterprise on Woodward Avenue, Muscle Shoals, AL was truly a pleasure. Mr. Williams was extremely professional. He was friendly, very efficient handling the paperwork and did a thorough inspection of the car before I drove it away. His overall demeanor definitely left a positive impression. Jo was also professional, polite and knowledgeable answering various questions I had prior to picking up the car. I would highly recommend Enterprise to any person base on my own experience. Professionalism and friendliness leaves a permanent impression!
Rental was beautiful, clean, super nice. I'm giving 1 star because their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They're great when you are renting, but are passively rude when trying to get information, settling out your bill, working with accident claims etc. I just returned the rental I was using. There are some discrepancies with their system and the accident claim system. I lost my cool, BUT the rep taking care of me REALLY lost it. I understand she was upset, but she started using profanity at me. Do not plan to ever use this company again. Clear cut information when you ask, courtesy, and friendliness go a very long way. I'll use another rental service if I need to rent a vehicle.
Rented a car and everything went fine. I put a large scratch on the car which I reported as soon as I took the car back. I’m totally insured but was told they would take 300 for a deductible. Fine, no biggie. I was also told that the 300 covered all the damages but that story changed over time. I then I received a letter from their damage department demanding more money for the damages. My insurance/CC company paid ALL CHARGES but this location would not give me my 300 deductible back. Nowhere on the invoice for the damages was there a credit for the 300 I was paid. I was told by the gentleman there that they charge the 300 and that’s just how they work but he couldn’t tell me what the 300 was used towards but he kept calling it a deductible and it’s listed on the invoice as a deductible. You might want to learn the definition of “deductible”. He asked me to send him the information about what my insurance paid. I sent him the letter from my insurance/cc company showing full payment as well as their damage department showing full payment received for damages but nowhere was the 300 listed as being applied to damages. I have called and emailed and asked to speak to a manager/district/regional manager other than the two people at the store because they could not answer my questions about what was going on. Since October NO ONE FROM THIS COMPANY HAS CALLED ME. Taking the 300 for a deductible is fine if it’s actually used as such. Taking 300 and just telling me “that’s just how we work” is not acceptable. It’s double dipping and a very shady business practice. I wouldn’t be airing this out on google but as I’ve said no one there ever calls you back from the store or the higher ups no matter how many times you’re told they will. It seems like they just blow you off and hope that you’ll go away so they don’t have to deal with you.
I went there this afternoon without a reservation, just trying my luck. The staffs were very accomodating, especially the lady Jo who assisted me in processing my car rental. I have a minor issue with the car but they still deserve my 5 star rating.
The guy who took care of me bc Florence screwed me over he stayed after his time to make sure I had a vehicle he said he was from Decatur store but he is awesome if I could give him 10 stars I most definitely would have
Excellent Customer Service from the entire staff. Very accommodating with reservations. I was especially grateful with assistance they provided me to and from the airport..... I will definitely rent again from this location on my next flight in to MuscleShoals.
The car with which I was provided was very nice and clean, and the process of getting the rental was quick and easy. The service, however, was rather unsatisfactory. I was befuddled by the apathetic attitude of the office workers. They were aggressive and unhelpful when presented with an issue. Overall, it was an average experience. EDIT 3/30/2021: I thought the customer service issues might have stemmed from a bad day or something of the like. After my interactions with Enterprise today, it is clear to me that the employees' bad attitudes are a constant issue. I'm glad I won't have to deal with them anymore.
Update second time making a reservation only to once again have NO VEHICLE BUT WAITED ALL DAY TO CALL.. NEXT. Needed a truck for two days. Simple right? Pick up at 7:30 Return Saturday same time. But no they open at 9 Saturday and wish to charge me two extra hours at 35.00 an hour. Yeah not going to happen. Never again.
Came on a Saturday to pick up a reserved vehicle. The person who was supposed to return was late and the employee named Josh stayed over past closing time to clean the car and get it an oil change before I drove it. Very happy with the service and how professional and nice he was even though he had to stay past closing time. He definitely deserves a raise
Had a reservation for a truck or similar vehicle for a week. Get there to find out there’s not a truck and there’s no idea of when one might be there or if there will even be one, and there’s only one worker from the Florence locationnot his fault the person that was supposed to be there didn’t show but it was all around bad. Multiple people showing up at the same time to return. Just not a very good way to run a business.
