I recently had an issue with my rental in the area of the Staunton branch.  At first I was extremely aggravated, but the manager there Mitch worked behind the scenes and met our needs by switching out our premium SUV with a similar premium SUV.  I have to say after all the calls it was not looking good but Mitch and the branches in the area worked together to make it happen.  At the end of the process, I was very impressed when I received a call from the Staunton branch.  The rental business is brutal, and Enterprise is absolutely the best in their profession.  Thank you for the way you endure our aggravation and help us resolve our rental issues.  The Norfolk Airport location also was attentive in reaching out to us and offering their assistance, thank you to all involved.

They had a rental when I needed one in a pinch.  I am upset with a corporate policy that left me on the hook for a cracked windshield resulting from a rock on the interstate leaving a chip that spread.  But the staff was professional and helpful with me and other customers.

The Team that I work with is simply great!  I particularly like Ken and Mr. Swink.  He always provides me with a ride back to my office.

Last minute car issue and I needed a vehicle that Friday for the weekend to travel to NY for the Merchant Marine Academy graduation.  My local Enterprise Lexington, VA had nothing available but pointed me to the Staunton, VA Enterprise.

Rude dirty cars cheap cars I’m 5 year customer we will not be back we will go else where to rent better cars with better service Thankx

Booked ahead of time for a full size car and when I got to the rental company they did not have what I had booked for wanted to upgrade to a pickup truck but I told them I would rather not have that because I was going on a trip and was planning on shopping and it was calling for rain. But they said that was all they have if I wanted any other upgrade it would be $100 extra a day so I had to settle for the truck and was not happy with that definitely considering not to book from Enterprise again because they were not willing to work with what I had booked for. They had a van on the lot and they had a few SUVs on the lot but was not willing to upgrade to one of those I had to take the Ford ranger.

First experience was not a good one. Very unprofessional, i had to wait over three days for a car. Could not get into a car until Monday after four. Then when I finally got my rental car the company talked me into signing up for their premium insurance coverage for their vehicle. I asked the man who was showing me the vehicles if my insurance covered that. He assured me that my insurance company would not be covering THEIR insurance premium and I would have to pay out of pocket. So, I agreed because the man kept telling me how detrimental it was if something happened to the vehicle such as it being scratched. They did not review any pricing with me, nor could they give me a total of their total premium insurance. I didn’t have a set date to return the vehicle. We assumed enterprise and myself a week at best, so my card was charged 246$. I called my insurance company and they told me that they actually do cover it. The insurance company also said, “regardless there are rules and regulations that companies must still abide by even if they franchised an establishment.” I was furious at this point and the man Joseph who answered the phone was very rude and not helpful at all. Even after I explained the situation. The total was suppose to be 50$ bottom line. I would advise that no one visit this location if you don’t want to get swindled by this company. Secondly, I would like to recommend that contrary to what they may tell you, if you have full coverage you do NOT need this insurance! They’re pressuring people into buying something even after they question if insurance should be covering this.

Mitchell manager and his team made me feel welcomed, valued as a customer, and ensured I got a clean, safe vehicle for my rental. Very positive experience, I’ll be using this Enterprise location again

I am writing this review because we are all humans. Sometimes mistakes are made. Sometimes words are said. Sometimes we feel time was wasted. Sometimes we feel unheard. I want to thank the manager at Enterprise for his and her patience. For the follow up call to see how to improve on services. For the fairness the experience.  I will encourage others to use Enterprise as well as continue myself. Thanks

You'll notice most of the recent reviews are pretty bad, my experience concurs.  Rented vehicle through insurance, returned the vehicle at another location as I told them I would.  Charged my card that they had on file for "incidentals".  Total scam.  Note: Every other Enterprise is great.  It's only the Staunton one that is horrible.
