I love renting my cars from Enterprise. The cars are very clean. The staff is Great at both locations I rent from. Enterprise in Chester and the one in Colonial Heights. If you want to rent a car with a good company stop by either one, you will not be sorry. I have recently rented from the Colonial Heights location and spoke to the assistant manager. She is a Great person to work with. Stop by and rent a car and tell them DJ sent you.
I rented a suv yesterday from the colonial heights branch and I just wanted to say how great of customer service I received from Bria and Daniella. It was blazing hot and humid yesterday and the 2 of them were super busy. They were very friendly and courteous with trying to help everyone who was waiting and I just want to thank them for the phenomenal customer service they provided. Don't see this often with a lot of businesses these days and despite the fact that it was just the 2 of them and they were extremely busy, they were very polite and friendly. I turned the vehicle in today and was greeted by Bria once again and Antwaun closed out my rental expeditiously and was very friendly and courteous. Thank you all so much!
The beginning of my experience at Enterprise was truly disappointing. The manager of the Colonial Heights branch would greatly benefit from improving the training of her employees in terms of customer service. It was disheartening to witness her sitting in her office with the door wide open, casting disapproving glances at customers as they arrived. However, amidst this unpleasant atmosphere, there was one shining light: Jada. She was the only person at the Colonial Heights location who displayed genuine happiness and a willingness to assist customers. Regrettably, I did not have the privilege of interacting with her. The employee who handled my paperwork failed to introduce himself and immediately jumped into the rental process, leaving me feeling like just another transaction. As we proceeded to inspect the car before departure, I noticed several issues that were not documented and got confirmation from another branch of that later. The exterior of the vehicle exhibited a dime-sized crack in the windshield, as well as multiple scratches on both the driver's side and passenger's side doors. Inside the vehicle, the ceiling bore numerous stains, and the driver's side floorboard showed signs of worn-out carpeting. Unfortunately, the worst part was yet to come. Upon opening the car door, an unmistakable smell of marijuana permeated the air. I promptly brought this matter to the employee's attention, and he even verified the presence of the odor himself, acknowledging the problem. However, he dismissed my concerns about the marijuana smell, even though the rental agreement explicitly prohibits smoking in the vehicle. Considering this violation, I expected him or the branch manager to offer an alternative vehicle, but no such offer was extended. It is disheartening to think that they would overlook such a blatant violation of their own policies, especially when my child would also be riding in the car. To compound the issue, the keys ended up locked in the ignition on two separate occasions throughout the day. I rented the car to ensure my safety and peace of mind, not to be plagued by multiple malfunctions. Fortunately, I was able to get in touch with Jack, the exceptional manager at the Chester location. From the moment I spoke to Jack, I felt genuinely valued as a customer. He promptly offered to exchange the car at the Chester location to provide me with a sense of safety and comfort. Jack's communication was consistently thorough and punctual, which further enhanced my confidence in him. His professionalism and dedication warrant both a raise and a promotion! Aware of the potential one-way fee if I returned the car to the Chester location, I weighed my options. Feeling undervalued at the Colonial Heights branch, I decided to take a chance and return the vehicle to the Chester location. The staff at Jack's location, including Jack himself, exhibited exceptional manners and genuinely cared about their customers' well-being. I will never conduct business at the Colonial Heights location again, but Jack and his team at the Chester location have earned my trust and future patronage!
They did not even deserve a star for the hand they dealt me. I reserved their minivan online Thursday evening online to be picked on Saturday morning. 30 minutes before I go and pick up the minivan, they called to inform me that the car was not available. Needless to say I was furious since I booked a non-refundable hotel rooms for a family trip and the assistant manager was lying about somebody trying to contact me on Friday about it. Even though I called enterprise call center to report the issue and they assured me that someone higher up will be reaching out within the hour to resolve my issue, nobody did. They do not know the meaning of customer service and I will definitely not be using their service again.
Had a reservation but shop failed to provide a car and Unfortunately the first Impression of helpful employees, especially the manager Mrs.Kirven, was destroyed when it turned out that they charged too much, scammed me and are now not even answering emails or reimbursing the money that was claimed from my credit card unauthorized. They had issued a good deal as apologies but then scammed instead- Careful there and a shame for Enterprise- sad to say, but they do not care about nothing… not to mention the strong odor of weed in the rental car and around the shop
So yesterday I had my worst experience with this location. I called yesterday morning to confirm my reservation I made weeks ago. They never called back to tell me they didn’t have a vehicle to put us in. We arrive they say they have nothing in the whole city try the airport…unprofessional as hell. Then the girl calls the airport only for them not to have any cars either. Never was offered a premium car. All the guy said was I needed a major credit car to rent a car I was asking about. Only for the other girl to claim the tags were bad. Needless to say. We’ve missed our trip lost over $2000 on a air bnb and event tickets. I will never use them again.
The communication and service at enterprise was very poor at all levels. A horrible situation happened on June 15, 2023 in which they cancelled my reservation without contacting me via phone call, text or email. If it was something they could not support, it could’ve been as easy as modifying my reservation and informing me instead of canceling it without letting me know. This situation was the worst one that I’ve ever experienced renting vehicles. On top of that, the rental car was not available for the one I originally reserved. I would highly recommend not rental a vehicle from this enterprise.
I reserved a mini van, however one was not in stock upon my arrival. LiBria J. was extremely helpful and very accommodating. She was able to get me into a suitable replacement without hesitation. She displayed exceptional customer service and went above and beyond. Thanks Bria.
Horrible, shady customer service. They are liars and will do anything to make a quick buck. They forced me into an expensive vehicle in order to use up my car insurance rental allowance. When I brought it to their attention. They stated they didn't have another vehicle and should waited until another day but then in the same breath stated that my insurance sent it over that way for me to have a truck. Then it lastly got stated that I requested a truck. A total lie!!! I was present and accounted for when I told them I was there from out of town and just needed a vehicle to get back home. I made a complaint to Enterprise headquarters and was able to switch vehicles. As for the other Enterprise that sent over the wrong info has apologized for the decrepancy. To top it off the truck was dirty inside with a garden sprayer in the seat when I let it down in the back and mud smeared on the back of the seats. Enterprise headquarters helped... this location absolutely did not. They also charged my insurance an extra full day when I returned the vehicle the day before. Corporate will be hearing about this as well.
The rental of the car, use of the car, and return a week later went without a hitch. That experience was great. Afterwards we have had a an issue with an extra payment being held on our card. After a couple of weeks the issue is still not handled but in time, I'm hoping it will be. Thanks to enterprise for having an employee like Kendal in Colonial Heights. She has been the rose in the garden that has helped us have some hope this will be settled in time.
