About Erin:
Erin Gauntner is the chef and owner of Erin’s Fine Foods. Established in 2004, Erin’s Fine Foods has been serving up tasty and unique dishes for weddings, showers, dinner parties, special events, and more for the Greater Pittsburgh community over the past six years.
A native of Pittsburgh, Erin has been a part of the culinary industry for 14 years. A 2000 graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu’s International Culinary Academy, Erin is formally trained in International and French cooking.
Prior to opening her own business, Erin worked in a variety of roles throughout the culinary industry. Her experience includes: line cook at The Fondue Stube, and breakfast and line cook at The Perfect Run, both located in The Vail Resort in Vail, Colorado. While there, Erin honed her skills in food preparation and presentation.
After working in Vail, Erin returned to Pittsburgh and worked at the Bradley House of Catering, while teaching a series of classes called Keeping it Simple to local residents. From 2001 – 2004, she worked as a saucier chef at Shannopin Country Club under Dino Cillo, Executive Chef. While building her clientele for her catering business, she worked part time at Highland Country Club as the banquet chef.
Erin’s passion and flair for cooking has won her numerous awards and accolades throughout her career, including: Pittsburgh Magazine’s Top Catering Service in the 2009 Reader’s Poll, The Glass Slipper Ball’s 2009 & 2010 People’s Choice Award, The Glass Slipper Ball's 2011 Best Appetizer Award, and Cocktails and Cusine 2008 Best Caesar Salad to name a few.
