I wish I could give this place a higher rating, I really wanted to like their frappe. The barista that served us was friendly, sweet, and went the extra mile to make our drink cute. However, the drink was so awful that I ended up throwing away the drink when I got home and just wasted my money. It was a pumpkin frappe that tasted as if it was mixture of moldy trash and a gasoline covered burned log. Honestly, my son and I couldn't even try to figure out where it went wrong because it was the #1 WORST DRINK we have ever had. But, their customer service was great!! This would have been rated as 1 star, if the customer service wasn't good.
This place is a hidden gem. Everyone is always so friendly when I stop here. Usually I go inside as going inside does seem quicker. But the atmosphere is really nice inside; Relaxed and quiet. A great place to work or chat up a conversation with a stranger. The pastries and sandwiches are really good. Also the drinks are delicious. I have to have good self control or I would go broke coming here everyday.
A favorite local spot for many reasons! Friendly and fast service, a large menu with many excellent items. The turkey sandwich and the Italian panini are some of my favorites!
This is our new favorite"local joint" we visit when in Tacoma. Nothing special from the outside, but amazing staff. Great food great coffee and just a cozy warm environment! The Reuben and the French Dip have both been great and the egg salad was awesome on sourdough! Raspberry scones are yummy and candy corn lattes are a hit right before Halloween! I can't wait to see what specials they have moving into the holidays!
I can’t say enough good things about espresso yourself. The staff is crazy friendly, the food is great, the coffee is delicious, and the prices are very fair. I always have a good experience and the atmosphere is friendly and neighborly. I’d give more stars if I could
Resist corporate coffee? I never really understood that until I was a little older and started to support local business's. When you start coming here you'll realize the difference in coffee vs large chains. I love this place and the customer service has always been great! I also never had a more consistent iced coffee since I started coming here 4 years ago. Great job!
Best kept secret of Fircrest. Great sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. The employees are very friendly and they get to know you as you frequently visit this lovely place. Their scones are the best. Once you taste their scones, you will never buy the one's at the Puyallup Fair. Notice that I did not say "The Washington State Fair". I've been coming to this place since 2000. If you haven't been to this place, stop in see what they offer.
I've been here a few times. And I can say the food is absolutley amazing. But the coffee is awful. I don't order anything fancy. A white chocolate Americano. Shots poured over ice. No water and soy milk. My coffee is so bitter and burnt. They must just let the shots die. I'm a barista myself and maybe I hold others to a higher standard or expect the same...but I do know these shots are dead. Judging by others reviews this is becoming a common thing. There is one barista who seems to act like a know-it-all and she gets real snippy if u point out that your coffee is bad. She's an older blonde. She also made it a point to me to tell them how I want my coffee made. So I do and it's still made wrong and undrinkable. There's always quite the wait. Inside and the drive thru. The lady who was a few customers in front of me ordered and didn't get her 1 cup of coffee until 4 others behind me!!! She was so patient but she shouldn't of been forgotten.
This is where the locals come for coffee. Either drive thru or stopping inside to sit and enjoy. Quaint ambiance, great coffee and delicious food. The staff is friendly and handles the rushes well. I love the little outdoor seating area for nice sunny days.
New to the area. Stopped in on my way to work because its on my route and sooo glad i did! The best Chai ive had in town yet! And great food choices!
