Cheryl Burlingame is the owner of Mimi's Teas. She resides in Fircrest and has had a dream of running a local tea shop for quite some time now. Cheryl is married, has three grown children, and three grand-children. Her six-year-old granddaughter was the first to call her "Mimi"; hence the name of the shop!

Wonderful atmosphere. The teas are so very tasty. The experience was amazing. I once watched her make one of the tea blends and it was like watching an alchemist at work. And the aromas were simply divine. Highly recommend stopping by and trying her teas.

Mimi's tea's is not only the greatest tea shoppe I've been to with the most varieties of tea I've seen, but the proprietress is an excellent conversationalist. She not only knows her subject, but becomes a good friend to everyone who comes in.

Mimi's Teas is excellent. I went there not knowing what I needed to get to start drinking loose leaf tea, but Cheryl was very kind and helpful in showing me different ways to start out. I purchased the 12th Man tea and the Earl Grey tea. I'm drinking the 12th Man tea as I'm writing this and it is very, very good. Prices are very reasonable as well... I got 3oz 1ox roughly does 8 cups of tea of each for only $20. I will definitely be back.. Very nice store!
I went in here barely knowing about tea. The shop is very cute. I think I spent at least 25 minutes just smelling all of the beautiful teas. The lady at the counter was extremely knowledgeable about teas and answered every question I had. She even offered to make me some tea which was the best cup of tea I have ever had. i'm enjoying some Black Lychee tea right now writing this review. Soon as I am out I'll be back buying some different teas to try at home!
